Arc Raiders features a number of maps, each providing you with a dedicated type of loot. While some areas may be heavy in health supplies, others would be heavy in technological supplies. Knowing which loot you need before embarking on an adventure is important. However, one such supply that remains constant through each map is Arc-related items. For these, you would need to take the fight to the Arc machines, after which you can loot them.
One such machine, which eliminated the need for a duel, is the Arc Probe. During a certain map condition, the spawn rate for the Arc Probes heightens in your favor. In this article, we will explore the Prospecting Probes map condition in Arc Raiders.
Arc Probe Overview in Arc Raiders
Arc Probes are one of the best machines you get to loot in Arc Raiders. Arc Probes are easier to loot, as you don’t need to fight and destroy them like the other Arcs. These probes, on random occasions, land at various spots on your map. There is no certain way to say where they would be landing next. If you are at the right place at the right time, you may find an unattended Arc Probe waiting to be breached and looted.
It is, however, not as easy as it sounds. Arc Probes take flight after some time and leave the map. So make sure to be quick with your loot before it eventually launches away. These machines also emit a beep to help you know that there is one in your proximity. The real trouble occurs when you start breaching it, as this process lets out a loud sound, alerting the arcs and raiders in the nearby area about your whereabouts. So be ready for a fight.

Event Description: ARC seems to have entered a period of extended probing, sending guarded probes down in masses.
When launching a Prospecting Probe event in any map, you can expect there to be rain. This slightly works in your favor, as it disguises the probe’s sound and makes it harder to spot you. The number of Arc Probes that land during this event is much larger, so you can rest assured of spotting at least one during your run. It is up to you if you would like to take advantage of the number of Arc Probes during this event or be content with your loot.
