Elden Ring Nightreign’s highly anticipated DLC, The Forsaken Hollows, has finally been revealed by FromSoftware. And much like the studio’s previous Souls DLCs, The Forsaken Hollows comes packed with a ton of content that can be a bit overwhelming for new players. Not only is the DLC adding new bosses to the game, but it also comes with 2 new Nightfarers.

Additionally, The Forsaken Hollows also comes with a brand new Shifting Earth as well as Raid events. Overall, there’s a ton to look forward to when The Forsaken Hollows launches next month. That said, here’s a rundown of everything you need to know about Elden Ring Nightreign The Forsaken Hollows.

Elden Ring Nightreign The Forsaken Hollows is scheduled to be released on December 4, 2025. The DLC will be available on all platforms where Elden Ring Nightreign was originally released. Additionally, players who purchased the Deluxe Edition of the game will get access to the DLC alongside the expansion’s official soundtrack and digital artbook, at no extra cost.

Furthermore, much like the base game, The Forsaken Hollows comes with a “lower-than-usual” pricetag. The Forsaken Hollows is priced at $15 on all platforms and is currently available for pre-order as well. As for its contents, FromSoftware has revealed a few key details. Here’s everything you can expect from the upcoming DLC:

Nightfarers

The biggest new addition to Elden Ring Nightreign, with The Forsaken Hollows DLC, are the two NightfarersScholar and Undertaker. Scholar is a new take on a Mage character, with proficiency in Arcane and Dexterity, alongside Intelligence. While details are quite limited on the new Nightfarers, Scholar does seem to use a Thrusting Sword and has access to Sorceries as well.

Furthermore, Scholar’s Ultimate Art allows him to apply a debuff on a group of enemies, which works somewhat similarly to Emily’s Domino ability in Dishonored 2. Undertaker, on the other hand, is a Strength-Faith hybrid who specializes in Incantations and Maces. She also has an Ultimate Art that lets her absorb a lethal attack and immediately retaliate with a counter.

From the looks of it, the new Nightfarers seem to be bringing completely new ways to tackle Expeditions. While we did have Faith-based characters in the base game, i.e., Revenant and Recluse, none of them were particularly geared towards offensive Incantations. With Undertaker, FromSoftware intends to change that.

Additionally, the DLC will also come with new sets of cosmetics for all Nightfarers. However, details on the cosmetics have not been revealed by FromSoftware just yet.

Bosses

With The Forsaken Hollows, FromSoftware is also adding two new Nightlords, i.e., Day 3 bosses. Although considering the final boss for the DLC is called the final boss of the DLC is called the Dreglord, the Day 3 bosses will likely be called something other than Nightlords. Furthermore, alongside the new Day 3 bosses, the DLC will get new Day 1 and Day 2 bosses as well.

In the announcement trailer, FromSoftware already revealed one of the fan-favorite returning bosses from Dark Souls, Knight Artorias. And much like in the base game, we can expect more Dark Souls bosses to appear in the DLC. In addition to that, enemies and bosses from Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree expansion are also coming to The Forsaken Hollows.

Shifting Earth

In addition to new bosses, The Forsaken Hollows is also adding a new Shifting Earth to the game. Based on Bandai Namco’s press release, the Shifting Earth is called the Great Hollow. And much like other Shifting Earths in the game, it will offer its own unique dungeon, bosses, and rewards. In addition to that, the DLC will also add new Raid events to Expeditions.

One such Raid event will summon Gladius on Limveld, which was showcased in the announcement trailer. Unfortunately, there’s no new map being added to the game with The Forsaken Hollows. The DLC will be taking place on the same base game map of Limveld. However, we can expect a few notable changes to it, thanks to the new Shifting Earth and Raids.
