Here’s how you can find Motors in Arc Raiders. Plus, areas where you can farm and maximize your Motor loot.
Motors in Arc Raiders are industry materials found mostly inside vehicles on every map. They are usually used to upgrade your refiner and can be farmed from vehicles and certain locations marked with an industry icon on your map. Here’s a quick guide on where you can find the Motors in Arc Raiders.
Motors Overview in ARC Raiders
Since Motors aren’t classified as a rare or epic item, there are many places where you can farm Motors in Arc Raiders. As the name suggests, you have a higher chance of finding motors inside vehicles. You can search and breach almost any vehicle in Arc Raiders, many of which will drop motors as common loot. However, the industry icon point of interest locations also have a high chance of attaining motors. Here are some common spots in the game for the current patch:
Primary Facility in Dam Battlegrounds
This spot is one of the more niche spots to find motors in. Plus, it is a remotely safe spot to farm it as well. Go inside the facility and look for the big red and blue containers that are half destroyed and search them. Usually, you will find a motor part for every other container you open. There might be fireballs and sentinels inside, so make sure to be well-equipped with a Ferro weapon to take them down.
Generator Hall Extraction Point
The Generator Hall extraction is located on the north side of the Dam Battlegrounds map. Besides the extraction point, there are several buses where you can investigate and breach for motor parts. It’s a spot where you can get almost 3–4 motors after breaching the sides of the buses. However, you can also find it on the back of the buses sometimes. However, being an extraction point, you might meet some raiders that shoot on sight, so be prepared for a fight.
Vehicle Maintenance at Spaceport
As the name suggests, the Vehicle Maintenance point of interest on the Spaceport has a lot of vehicles that you can search for loot. However, that also depends on the RNG, as there have been times when you’ll get only a motor for around 3–4 vehicles breached. But given that there are several vehicles in this area, you are sure to find motors for your refinery level 3.
Blue Gate Underground Tunnels
This location has possibly one of the highest numbers of cars on a map. So, if you require a lot of motors for the future, farming in this area is highly recommended. However, this is also one of the raider hotspots, as there are lots of ARCs to farm. So, high-level players naturally want to loot in this area. Nevertheless, you can solo raid this area, as players in solo prefer resource farming over PVP usually. You can also try to loot the confiscation room at the end of the tunnels, but that requires you to have a confiscation key.

Motors are mainly used to upgrade your refinery to level 3, which is required for high-level crafting and are an essential part of progressing deeper through the game.
