Discover how you can unlock every Wildcard for Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Multiplayer and whether they remain after Prestiging.
Wildcards are unique abilities in Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Multiplayer that can provide bonuses and advantages during matches. Using Wildcards factor into build planning as they can have a drastic effect on loadout, including starting with an extra Tactical, Lethal, Perk, and even allowing two primary weapons. There are a total of nine Wildcards available in Black Ops 7, each one with unique effects and its own unlock criteria.

Wildcards and Unlock Requirements in Black Ops 7
Unlock all the Wildcards in Call of Duty Black Ops 7 by leveling up your player profile. They unlock one by one as you level up, and by the time you reach Level 53, all Wildcards are unlocked. Leveling up doesn’t require you to play only Black Ops 7 Multiplayer, as you can gain experience by playing any game mode, including Co-op Campaign, Zombies, and Dead Ops Arcade 4.

Do Wildcards Stay While Prestiging?
Once you Prestige your player profile, all Multiplayer unlocks, including Wildcards, will be re-locked. To obtain them again, you must level up your profile to meet their unlock requirements. However, you can unlock a Wildcard permanently by spending your Prestige’s Permanent Unlock on it.
For example, if you rely on the Flyswatter Wildcard, you can permanently unlock it so it remains available even after Prestiging. To do so, select the locked Wildcard from the Level Unlocks Menu after Prestiging and spend your Permanent Unlock on it.
You can also do so from the Loadout item lists. The Permanent Unlock can also be spent on a weapon, Field Upgrade, or Perk. GobbleGums are permanently unlocked by default and remain available regardless of Prestiging.
