Heroes in Inazuma Eleven Victory Road are the rarest players you can add to your squad. You can field only two of them at once. Their stats grow faster. Their skills scale better. Their progression trees open more options than regular spirits.

You might receive dozens of common or rare spirits before you spot a single hero spirit. The game spreads more than 5400 characters across multiple eras, so the pool is huge. Not every character has a hero version, but many fan favourites do. Because of that, you spend a lot of time figuring out where the hero variants are placed and which method works best for you.

Player Universe Constellation System

You will get most of your heroes from the Player Universe inside Chronicle Mode. You need to open it, check a constellation, and spend 5 Bond Stars per node. One node gives you 12 spirits at once. Before you spend anything, you can open the character list in the bottom corner and check every spirit in that constellation. That view also shows drop rates for each rarity.

Common spirits dominate most pulls. Rare spirits follow next. Hero spirits sit at the bottom with very low percentages. Many players end up spending somewhere between 25 and 50 Bond Stars before seeing their first hero spirit. Some stretches take more.

Once you clear every node inside a constellation section, you unlock a central node. This special node has better odds for rare and hero spirits. It acts like a gentle pity system, so your chances improve after investing enough Bond Stars in one place.

Earning Bond Stars for Pulls

You use Bond Stars as your currency for Player Universe pulls. You gather them mostly through online matches. Ranked, lobby, and friend matches all give you 5 Bond Stars per match. You get the reward whether you win or lose.

Chronicle Mode contributes too. Rare drop battles give you 1 Bond Star each. Hero Battles give you 2.

Ranked play moves the process faster. One ranked match usually lasts between 8 and 9 minutes. If you play without breaks, you collect around 15 to 25 Bond Stars every hour. You can then use those stars for Player Universe pulls or save up for full constellation clears.

Hero Battles in Chronicle Mode

Hero Battles open after you finish earlier Chronicle tasks such as Chronicle Battles, Route Unlock Battles, and Rare Drop Battles. These encounters sit at level 50 and above. You need a well-trained squad for consistent wins.

Each Hero Battle gives you 2 Bond Stars and some Training Beans. You also get a very tiny chance at a hero spirit. The chance is roughly 0.001 percent, so you do not count on it. You can check the number by selecting the Hero Battle node and opening the drop rate tab.

Spirit Market Exchanges

The Spirit Market lets you swap multiple spirits of a character for a hero version of that same character. You need 5 spirits of different rarities of the same player to activate the exchange.

For example, if you want the hero version of Fubiki, you gather 10 Fubiki spirits across several rarities. Once you reach the requirement, the hero variant becomes available for exchange.

Legendary Spirits and Ascension

Some characters appear in more than one rarity line. You can upgrade certain Legendary Spirits through long term progression paths. If you keep investing in these upgrades, you eventually reach the hero version. It takes time, but it gives you another option that does not depend on luck.

Time Expectations

Your first hero usually takes some time. You might need 50 to 100 ranked matches before stacking enough Bond Stars for several constellation pulls or a full constellation clear. Some sessions take 8 to 20 hours, depending on your goal and how specific your target hero is.
