Unlock the Dreambreaker Rod by completing the Restless One Quest. Follow our step-by-step guide for the Cultist Lair.
The Fisch Leviathan update introduced the Dreambreaker Rod that you can obtain by completing the Restless One NPC’s questline. The Stage 11 rod is a very nice piece of late-game equipment. However, completing the quest can prove challenging. It also requires all players to be Level 500 in Fisch. This article will serve as a comprehensive guide to completing the Restless One NPC quest in the Cultist Lair.

How To Reach the Restless One
The Restless One is an NPC you can encounter inside the first room in the Cultist Lair. To reach him, you need to first enter the Cultist Lair by completing the Sea Traveler’s Quest on Terrapin Island. Follow these steps if you do not have access to the Cultist Lair yet:
- Get over to the Western Side of the Terrapin Island and initiate the Traveler’s Quest.
- Go to the Terrapin Hideaway at the 10, 155, 2000 coordinates. The entrance will be covered in moss as shown above.
- Go to the left cave and enter the dark hole to get to the Cultist Lair.
- Take the right door. Stay out of the direct line of sight of the guard and enter the first chamber.
- The NPC at the far right corner of the room is the Restless One.
How To Complete Restless One Quest
The quest has numerous parts that require you to hand over very rare items to the Restless One NPC. You should unlock both Cultist Lair Door 1 and Door 2, reach the Sanctum, and complete all of the other quests in the area before attempting it.
Requirements
Apart from being level 500, you will also need to get your hands on these rods you can get from inside the Cultist Lair, to complete the quest.

Completing the quest nets you the Dreambreaker Rod. This is a Stage 11 rod that has some very good Luck and high lure speed. Here is a breakdown of the stats.

After 20% progress, the fishing minigame has inverted controls. On top of that, the Dreambreaker’s passive makes it behave differently depending on the time of day. The table below explains how its ability works.

You must start a Leviathan Hunt in the Sanctum Area of the Cultist Lair to get them. To summon a hunt, you must submit five fish at the five pedestals surrounding the fishing pool inside the Sanctum.
