How To Get
The only way to get the Cursed Touch Mutation in Fisch is from the Great Dreamer Rod’s passive. This is a Stage 5 Rod that players can buy for C$500,000 at the Cursed Isle. It is not that hard to get. To buy it:
- Head to The Cursed Isle. The Cursed Isle is an island you can find north of Snowcap Island, but only during certain weather conditions.
- The island becomes accessible during Foggy Spring/Autumn nights. You can use a Smokescreen Totem to force it to appear.
- Locate a cabin towards the entrance of the island around these coordinates: 1928, 146, 1123.
- Inside it, you will find the Great Dreamer Rod, which can be bought for C$500,000.
When catching a fish with the Great Dreamer Rod, there is a chance for its passive to trigger every 1-4 fish. When it does, a Cthulhu will spawn and reward you with an additional fish from the pool. There is a 50% chance that this fish will have the Cursed Touch mutation. Currently, this is the only way to get this mutation.
Note: Passive-blocked fish cannot get this mutation.
Mutation Modifiers
The mutated fish have a drastically different appearance, with bright neon green skin and dark patterns. What’s more, the Cursed Touch gets a 5x value multiplier as well. This is a very nice boost for early-game Fisch players that are looking for an easy money boost.
