Black Ops 7 Zombies has a ton of easter eggs, but the Dempsey PTSD easter egg is one that’s fairly difficult to find. This easter egg takes you down a horrifying roller coaster, throwing you deep into Dempsey’s traumatic past.
Dempsey’s PTSD easter egg is one of the coolest sequences in Black Ops 7 Zombies, and it’s so easily missable that this may just be the first time you’re hearing of it. How To Unlock the Dempsey PTSD Easter Egg in Black Ops 7 Zombies
You can unlock the Dempsey PTSD easter egg in Black Ops 7 Zombies by following the steps below:
- First, you have to pick Dempsey as your character for the run. Since we’re peeking into his past, you have to be playing as him.
- Drive over to the Crashed Rocket location on the map.
- Towards the southeast of this rocket, you’ll see a small pathway cutting through the rocks. Go here and you’ll find a couple of dead bodies and a dog tag.
- Interact with the dog tag, and you’ll unlock the easter egg and begin the Dempsey PTSD sequence.

What Happens During the Dempsey PTSD Easter Egg in Black Ops 7 Zombies
As soon as you pick up the dog tag, Dempsey will recognize it to be his own. Veytharion’s voice will then boom through his head, calling him a coward. You then take control of Dempsey and have to walk through the forest, following the black orb.
Veytharion will accuse Dempsey of abandoning his post at the temple, and you’ll then hear the voices of a Marine Officer congratulating Dempsey for his bravery. Veytharion then confronts Dempsey, accusing him again of living a lie.
Follow the black orb further, and Veytharion will dig deeper. You’ll then learn of Dempsey’s partnership with Weaver and how Dempsey inadvertently unleashed evil on the temple. Dempsey was the vessel for the evil at the temple, and it bound itself to him. With this revelation, the sequence comes to an end.
