In this guide, we shall walk you through the What We Left Behind quest in Arc Raiders, a late-game quest that spans different locations.
Arc Raiders has plenty of quests for you to complete, and What We Left Behind is one you’ll find in the late game. As expected from late-game missions, What We Left Behind is quite a challenging task that requires you to find high-tier loot across different locations in the game. These locations include South Swamp Outpost in Dam Battlegrounds, Parking Garage in Buried City, and Container Storage in Spaceport.
Since these locations are spread across different maps and are equally exposed to the threat of the Arc and other raiders, this isn’t a quest to take lightly. We’re here to help you complete it with as little friction as possible.

What Is the What We Left Behind Quest in Arc Raiders?
As mentioned earlier, What We Left Behind is a quest that sends you out to explore and find rare loot in the following regions:
- South Swamp Outpost in Dam Battlegrounds
- Parking Garage in Buried City
- Container Storage in Spaceport
Since the loot is always generated at random and your encounters with the Arc and other raiders are also unpredictable, the difficulty of this quest comes purely from elements beyond your control.

How To Complete What We Left Behind in Arc Raiders
South Swamp Outpost in Dam Battlegrounds
For your first objective, you need to find loot in the South Swamp Outpost in Dam Battlegrounds. Load into the map and head to the southwestern end. The swamp is filled with foliage, making it easier to sneak through. Look for the large tower near the center of the swamp, where you’re likely to find your rare loot. Note that it may take a few tries depending on the RNG.
Parking Garage in Buried City
Next, load into the Buried City map and make your way to the Parking Garage. This area is toward the center of the map and is fairly high-traffic, so approach with caution. Enter the garage using the spiral road, and keep heading up until you spot an elevator. Breach the elevator open and use the cables inside to zipline underground. You’ll find the loot you’re looking for there.

Container Storage in Spaceport
Last, head to the Spaceport map and make your way to the Container Storage. This area is also high-traffic, located right in the center of the map. If you can’t find it, it’s directly east of Vehicle Storage and west of the Communications Tower.
Start at the Container Storage and proceed southeast. You’ll find Bilguun’s Hideout very close to this building. Loot the hideout to find the rare item you need and complete the quest.
