A Trace Quest in Arc Raiders is a follow-up to the Reduced to Rubble quest. Here’s how you can complete it.
The “With a Trace” quest in Arc Raiders will have you investigate the Barren Clearing located on the Blue Gate Map. Given by Shani, you’re directed to check out the site for any information about what happened to the ARC machines out there. Here are all the steps needed to complete the “With a Trace” Quest in Arc Raiders.
With a Trace Quest Guide in Arc Raiders
The quest begins after you talk to Shani in Speranza after the Reduced to Rubble quest. This quest takes place in the Blue Gate map, in the Barren Clearing location.
After spawning in the Blue Gate map, head to the Barren Clearing located on the left side of the map. You’ll need to investigate the remains of ARC machines in that area.
Find a gray sphere somewhere around the middle of the huge ARC machine wreck. The gray sphere is a part of this ARC that you’ll have to find and investigate. It will be glowing with a yellow aura in the area. It’s not very difficult to spot, but looking for it from an elevated area using your binoculars will help the search. This will mark the objective complete.
After completing the previous objective, you’ll be directed by the quest tab to go check out the Adorned Wreckage. The Adorned Wreckage is located south of the Barren Clearing, below Trapper’s Glade. Going to the area will mark the objective as complete.
For the final objective in Blue Gate, you’ll have to look for a yellow fusebox in the middle of all the fallen ARC machines. The yellow box is located below the tallest structure in the area. You’ll have to interact with it, and that concludes the “With a Trace” quest in Arc Raiders.
After finishing all the above objectives, you can return to Shani in Speranza and gather your quest rewards.
With a Trace Quest Rewards
Shani will reward you with a Looting Mk. 2 augment and a Medium Shield. The looting Mk. 2 augment will automatically take off any attached Ticks after 1 second, and improve your looting capabilities. Plus, it also increases your Trinket slots to three. You can also sell it for 2000 Raider Tokens.
The Medium Shield is one of Arc Raider’s most useful items. It’s a rare shield that will provide you protection against gunfire for a minor movement penalty.
