Call of Duty Black Ops 7 continues the saga of Mason & Co. in its exciting campaign. Make no mistake, the campaign emerges as a short affair. However, the campaign cements itself as an adrenaline-filled ride that stays with you for a while. Once you reach the end of the campaign, the fun doesn’t stop.

What Exactly Happened in the Ending of Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Campaign?
In Black Ops 7’s final campaign mission, Mason & Co. find themselves having to save the day by destroying The Guild’s and Emma Kagan’s facility. The villains planned to utilize the Cradle biological weapon all over the world to cause maximum havoc and destruction. Nevertheless, the heroes emerge triumphant after capturing Kagan and bringing her into custody.
However, even with Emma Kagan’s capture, The Guild seems to be still active, and it appears that a new character is in charge as we cut to his face in the final scene.
The man at the end, whom the subtitles reveal as “Dorne,” is an unknown new character in the Black Ops franchise. Beyond his name, we don’t know much about his origins or background. Nevertheless, judging by the technology and robots surrounding him, he appears to be a member of The Guild and the new big bad of the future.

This is somewhat similar to the setting up of Jackson Caine in the ending of Black Ops 6’s main campaign, who then appeared in seasonal content drops and cutscenes.
