Here’s how you can complete the Escalation mission in Call of Duty Black Ops 7, hunt down the sniper, infiltrate the bunker, and more.
Escalation is the fourth mission in the Call of Duty Black Ops 7 campaign. It starts right after the team’s harrowing experience in Distortion. You still have the Guild’s data drive, and it is not yet decrypted, and for that, Karma requires a quantum computer to break through.

Escalation Mission Objectives
The mission is segmented into multiple phases. Here’s what you can expect.

- Recover The Spike
Following the Signal and Hunting the Sniper
Your first task is to follow a signal to find the person of interest near an aqueduct. Your next task is to investigate a van; approach it and interact to trigger the next boss fight phase. You are ambushed by the sniper Priya Zaveri, and you have to eliminate her in multiple phases. Priya will create after-images to distract you, and you have to identify the real one by her muzzle flash and movements.
After you eliminate her, the next phase of the combat will begin. You will find multiple supply caches along the way, so restock and prepare, because the combat inside the bunker will be challenging.
Infiltrating the Bunker and Spiking the Servers
Once you get into the bunker, you will be greeted by heavy resistance. From armored enemies to top-tier Sentinels, the game throws every possible threat at you to stop you from breaching the servers.
Your objectives are simple: access the main terminal, spike the servers, hold the area while Karma downloads the data, fight off enemies, then recover the spike and escape. That is it.
Rewards for Completing Inside
Upon completing the Escalation mission, you will unlock the Sniper: No Sniping (Emblem) and receive 5,000 XP.
