Call of Duty Black Ops 7 (BO7) has just been released and has brought back the Zombies game mode with it, which can be difficult to complete without knowing these tips and tricks beforehand. If you are a beginner to the game, you will likely struggle to make it to the vaunted round 100 in BO7 Zombies. Here are all the tips and tricks to follow:

Armor Up
While playing BO7, you can obtain Essence to purchase various items and upgrades. It is recommended that you buy the armor attached to the walls. These will be crucial in helping you survive by upgrading your defenses.
Ideally, you should focus on not getting hit at all. However, this is not possible most of the time. Moreover, as rounds pass, zombies start dealing more damage. Therefore, having some armor will be crucial in taking a few hits.
A Good Build Will Be Necessary
In Zombies, you need to survive against hordes of creatures. The key here will be the number of enemies you are up against. Assault Rifles and Shotguns will be great in this game mode. Some of the best options you should consider are:
- M10 Breacher
- MXR-17
- M15
Naturally, the weapons alone will not be enough to carry you. You will also have to focus on augmenting them and getting the right perks. Fortunately, Black Ops 7 will allow you to copy the best weapon loadouts from any player.
Make sure that you keep unlocking new perks and augments and try them out based on your currently used weapon. Not every perk will match well with every gun, and vice versa. A proper build will eliminate a lot of the skill factor you will need to succeed.
Utilize Environmental Traps Effectively
While you are battling it out within the BO7 Zombies map, you will likely notice many traps to activate around the map. These traps will be crucial in getting some heat off your back and providing you with brief moments of respite.
Even in the Black Ops 7 Zombies Beta, this held true. The Saw Blade trap would mow down hundreds of zombies while you could sit nearby without wasting a bullet. Although this might get rebalanced in the future, for now, traps remain an effective way of killing zombies. Of course, you cannot rely on them all the time, since they have a cooldown after being used.
Overclock Your Gear
Overclocking is a new feature introduced in Black Ops 7. You can use it to make several pieces of gear even stronger than before. This will also add another layer to the build variety within the game.
You can unlock these upgrades by leveling up your equipment after repeated use. Fortunately, Zombies is the perfect mode for this, as you get a great amount of XP from playing it.
Play It Smart and Fast
In the end, your loadout and gear will not be enough if you are unable to evade zombies effectively. You have to use the Omnimovement and Wall Jump mechanics to quickly reposition yourself and escape danger many times.
This can also be used offensively by moving around and making zombies group up together. It will be easier to mow them down together while conserving bullets instead of picking them off one at a time.
Sliding and jumping will let you reach vantage points and pick off zombies.
