It’s been awhile since I’ve posted and given some insights on the site and my life in general. Our family had some health challenges that consumed a lot of my time. I’ve also been working in the community creating a free gym for Veterans, but that project has slowed down as we’ve run into legal roadblocks. My time has freed up a bit and I’ve found some interest in Elder Scrolls Online again.
I’m going to launch a new weekly series called Battleground Bullies. The goal of this series is to give Player vs. Player (PvP) specific tips for the average player covering a wide variety of topics; map strategies, builds, useful skills and much more. The reason I’m focusing on this is threefold: First, I have a passion for instance-based PvP and now that it’s a part of ESOs base game, the population of players in Battlegrounds has skyrocketed. The improvements to match making make it a lot more fun and gives you a sense of PvP progression. Second, it’s something I can do solo or in a group with a variety of playstyles. I’m not confined to just playing Meta builds/sets/skills and can enjoy making things that work for me and sharing that with others. Lastly, there are plenty of content creators making useful videos on things that I no longer have an interest for. There’s no point in me reinventing the wheel or doing something I dislike as this is a passion project for me. Yet, I don’t see any content specifically aimed at Battlegrounds or PvP skill level improvement.
Are there other games that interest me that I could possibly cover? Yes, Fallout 76, Ashes of Creation and even Madden Football. However, it takes a lot (and I mean a lot) of time to get good at any new game. Until I feel confident about playing another game for years, ESO is it for me in the future and specifically focusing on PvP. I’m out of touch with PvE builds and Metas and have little interest in doing anything else besides tanking or healing.
I plan on updating my builds as I find new and useful sets, skills and combinations to share with the community. I will also start streaming on weekends via Twitch.tv/deltiasgaming as YouTube hasn’t excelled in this department. These broadcasts will be uploaded to my YouTube for viewing and a weekly post on Battleground guides will be on my website. I could also bring back Gamer to Gym Rat, if there is interest please let me know. Thank you for constantly supporting the site as this directly helps my passion, hobby and my family. I look forward to sharing more of what I learn with a great community.
Glad to see you back again. I knew your absence must have been related to focusing on important things in life. Let me know if you need any technical help with the site. I’ve been a software developer for 22 years.
