Why Should You Play Stasis Titan in Solo PvE Content?
Pros | Cons |
---|---|
Excellent Crowd Control | Requires Beyond Light |
Decent Damage Output | Difficult to Master |
Great Ability Uptime | Strand Does it Better |
Stasis Titan Solo Build Playstyle
The Stasis Titan’s strength’s come out with ability to stop enemies in their tracks and excellent ability uptime. We want to be constantly freezing our enemies and creating stasis crystals to break. Stasis Crystals not only freeze our enemies, but cause decent damage on shatter. They also provide us with buffs to survivability when they are up and give us ability energy when we break them.
Abilities
Some abilities, aspects and fragments need to be unlocked before use. In order to do that, Destiny 2 players will need to finish the Beyond Light campaign. Once you’ve finished the Beyond Light campaign, the Exo Stranger will offer you a new quest called Born in Darkness. The quest has 4 parts in it that you are going to have to complete to unlock and use 100% of your stasis subclass.
Glacial Quake | |||
Rally Barricade | Catapult Lift | Glacier Grenade | Shiver Strike |
Glacial Quake – Currently the only option for Stasis Titan. Great for large ad clears and for generating stasis crystals. Can also put out some great single target damage.
Rally Barricade – Choose this for the shorter cool down.
Catapult Lift – This really comes down to personal preference, so feel free to flex another lift if you prefer it.
Glacier Grenade – This build revolves around breaking Stasis Crystals, so this is a required pick.
Shiver Strike – Currently the only options for Stasis Titan. Its not super effective, but with Howl of the Storm it can generate more Stasis Crystals for us.
Aspects
Tectonic Harvest | Howl of the Storm |
Tectonic Harvest – We need these Stasis Shards to increase our ability uptime.
Howl of the Storm – Allows our melee to generate Stasis Shards.
Fragments
Whisper of Chains | Whisper of Conduction | Whisper of Rime | Whisper of Fissures |
Whisper of Chains : Damage reductions is always useful.
Whisper of Conduction : This will help us collect Stasis Shards more easily
Whisper of Rime : Grants us more survivabiltiy for harvesting Stasis Shards.
Whisper of Fissures : Adds to our overall damage.

Cold Comfort – Obtained from the Ghost of the Deep dungeon. The absolute king of burst damage, this launcher can fire multiple rockets under the right circumstances.
Exotic Armor
Exotic Armor | Mod |
Hoarfrost-Z – Preferred option. Obtained from Legendary Lost Sectors. Creates Stasis Crystals for us to break by using our class ability. This essentially makes all of our abilities generate crystals.
Heart of Inmost Light – Secondary Option. Obtained after completing Step 2 or the “Into the Abyss” Quest from Ikora or dropped in Legendary Lost Sectors. Not as effective as Hoarfrost-Z, but Heart works with most Titan subclasses effectively.
