Enshrouded: How To Find Frogs

Learn how to find and collect frogs in Enshrouded, locate their habitats, and use them for fishing and quests.

You might not think much of frogs at first, but in Enshrouded, they are actually quite useful. Frogs are considered Level 40 bait, which means they are far better than beginner bait options like fireflies or small insects. Using them increases your chances of catching uncommon, rare, or even epic fish.

You will also need frogs for the Nice Day for Fishing quest given by the Fisher survivor in Veilwater Basin. Once collected, they automatically go into your inventory under the ammunition section, shown with a blue fish icon.

If you plan to do a lot of fishing, it is smart to gather frogs during nighttime trips and keep extra in your inventory. They make fishing smoother and help you progress through the Fisher’s quests without delay.

How To Find Frogs in Enshrouded

To start collecting frogs, you need to head to the Veilwater Basin, which was added in the Wake of the Water update. Frogs live in grassy zones across this area and usually move in small groups. They hop around a lot, so you have to keep your eyes open.

The best time to look for them is at night. After sunset, frogs are easier to spot because their backs have faint glowing green lines. You do not need any tools or weapons to collect them. Just walk close to one and press the interaction key to pick it up instantly.

Where To Find Frogs in Enshrouded?

Your best bet is Fishing Island, which sits southwest of the Ancient Spire in Veilwater Basin. This island almost always has several frog groups. Each group usually has six to nine frogs hopping around.

Once you finish collecting from the island, you can check the nearby grassy shores. The path that goes northwest toward Queen Jezmina’s Camp also has several frog clusters, especially in wetland areas. Frogs respawn in these zones regularly, so you can return whenever you need more.

If you want to gather efficiently, try making a simple route. Start from Fishing Island, move along the shoreline, and end near the wetlands close to the camp. This loop gives you a steady supply without wasting time waiting for respawns.
