Vida is a rare-spawn boss, and he is locked to the Farm Town’s supermarket. However, do not expect him to spawn on every visit, as it is purely RNG-based. When he does appear, the fight takes place within the supermarket aisles, with close-quarter combat. As you may already know, some quests have weapon requirements, and the same applies here. If you kill him with the wrong gun equipped, the quest won’t register.

Escape From Duckov: Vida Boss Guide – Spawn Location and Mechanics
- Location: Farm Town supermarket, center aisles only.
- Spawn Rate: Not guaranteed as it is RNG-based only.
- Ambience: You will hear Vida’s unique, heavy metallic footsteps with deep thuds.
- Combat Arena: Be very careful, as the combat area is dense and requires proper positioning. Raw firepower helps, but positioning always wins.
- No Boss Spawn: If the market is quiet after you clear the area, he didn’t spawn into your raid.
Weapon-Locked Quests
There are a few quests that require killing Vida with a specific weapon. If you use the wrong gun, the kill won’t register. Equip the required weapon mentioned in the table below, and then kill the boss to complete the listed quests.

Note: Players have reported some weapon requirements, such as the M700 for Proof of Strength II, throughout the community, but only Vida’s Challenge officially requires the Glick pistol.
Combat Strategy
Getting to the Farm Town is already a challenge, and once you reach it safely, make sure you’re equipped with the correct quest weapon: Glick, M700, or RPK. Bring plenty of ammo, as running dry mid-fight can cost you the run. Also, carry multiple healing items, as the boss hits very hard.
As for his fighting style, it’s similar to a miniboss. His moves are linear, and you can dodge his projectiles, stay out of his line of sight, and keep firing. If you’re lucky, a mercenary might spawn nearby, indirectly helping you since Vida will engage the mercenary first before turning his attention to you.
Rewards
After you slay him, ensure you collect the loot, as the drops are quite worthwhile. However, his spawning inconsistencies make him a hard pass for boss farming runs.
