Should You Play This Build?
The Predator ESO Magicka Dragonknight PVP Build is ideal for players looking to absolutely dominate small group battlegrounds and Cyrodiil solo or in a group. The Predator build features insane damage over time, burst ultimates, resource sustain and mobility. Everything you need to dominate the battlefield PvP in the Elder Scrolls Online!

Bar One: Fire Staff Damage Bar
Fossilize (morph of Petrify | Earthen Heart skill line): crowd control ability that cannot be blocked or avoided
Burning Embers (morph of Searing Strike | Ardent Flame skill line): damage over time that can be recast for a burst heal
Elemental Drain (morph of Weakness to Elements | Destruction staff skill line): sustain tool, reduction in enemies armor and proc for our Destro staff
Flame Lash (morph of Lava Whip | Ardent Flame skill line): main spammable that can heal when immobilized, can use other morph Molten Whip for max damage
Engulfing Flame (morph of Fiery Breath | Ardent Flame skill line): AoE conal that increase our flame damage and provides damage over time effect
Ferocious Leap (morph of Dragon Leap | Draconic Power skill line): massive burst damage, AoE cc and provides a big shield

Molten Armaments (morph of Molten Weapons | Earthen Heart skill line): provides major sorcerery buff, increases heavy attack and procs Earth Heart passives giving ultimate and stamina

Race Against Time (morph of Accelerate | Psijic Order skill line): mobility tool to use when immobilized or needing a burst of speed

The setup below will make you: very sturdy with great resource pool for healing, cleansing and casting buffs.
Engine Guardian: helm obtained in Darkshade Caverns II, shoulder from Maj with undaunted keys
- (1 item) Adds 129 Health Recovery
- (2 items) When you use an ability, you have a 25% chance to summon a Dwemer automation to restore 550 Stamina or Magicka or 1955 Health to you every 0.5 seconds for 6 seconds. This effect can occur once every 10 seconds.
WHY?: using a lot of heavy armor will limit your resource regeneration unless taking pressure making Engine Guardian a great solution. You can swap to massive damage dealer like Balorg for high burst.
Mark of the Pariah: obtained in Overland Wrothgar or through guild traders
- (2 items) Adds 1206 Maximum Health
- (3 items) Adds 1487 Armor
- (4 items) Adds 1487 Armor
- (5 items) Increases your Physical Resistance and Spell Resistance by up to 10206 based on your missing Health. Current value: 2373
WHY?: makes you incredibly tanky and very forgiving if you’re slow to react to incoming damage.
Shacklebreaker: Craftable 6 trait in Vvardenfell Morrowind DLC.
- (2 items) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
- (3 items) Adds 129 Magicka Recovery
- (4 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage and Spell Damage
- (5 items) Adds 2065 Maximum Stamina, Adds 2065 Maximum Magicka
WHY?: large stat pool allows you to spec heavily into health/resource sustain and makes surviving easier. Though can be flexed out for more damage/healing.

- (5 items) Increase the effectiveness of your Weapon Traits by 100%. This does not effect Ornate or Intricate traits.
WHY: increases your weapon trait making it a great flexible 5 piece when you want more damage/more survivability all from one set.
Ancient Dragonguard: Craftable 6 trait in Souther-Elsweyr also tradeable with players
- (2 items) Adds 1206 Maximum Health
- (3 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage and Spell Damage
- (4 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance
- (5 items) Adds 300 Weapon Damage and Spell Damage while your Health is above 50%. Adds 3460 Physical Resistance and Spell Resistance while your Health is 50% or less.
WHY?: great set for higher damage builds that also flips on defensive mode below 50% paired very well with Pariah. Swap to this if you really struggle with breaking crowd control of panicky when taking pressure.

Burning Spell Weave: obtained in dungeon City of Ash 1 and City of Ash 2
- (2 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
- (3 items) Adds 129 Spell Damage
- (4 items) Adds 657 Spell Critical
- (5 items) When you deal damage with a Flame Damage ability, you apply the Burning status effect to the enemy and increase your Spell Damage by 490 for 8 seconds. These effects can occur once every 12 seconds.
WHY?: great uptime and massive spell damage increase.
Domihaus (one piece only): found Falkreath Hold and Undaunted pledge system
- (1 item) Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina, Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
Gaze of Sithis (guide found here): obtain through ESO Mythic system
- (1 item) Adds 3276 Maximum Health, Adds 1025 Health Recovery, Adds 4000 Armor, Reduces your Block Mitigation to 0.
Perfected Maelstrom: obtained in Veteran Maelstrom Arena or you can get lessor version in normal
- (2 items) Adds 526 Spell Critical, When your Regeneration critically strikes, you restore 558 Magicka. This effect cannot occur from simultaneous critical strikes.

#1 Dunmer (Dark Elf) = all around great if you want to switch between magicka/stamina build though lacks resources sustain

Consumables
- Food: Clockwork Citrus: Increase Max Health by 3724, Health Recovery by 351, Max Magicka by 3458 and Magicka Recovery by 319 for 2 hours
- Potions: Tri-pots and Immovability
- Tri-pots: Restores Magicka, Stamina, and Health. These are great to use if you’re having issues with survivability and/or sustain
- Immovability: Immobilizes your target and grants you Unstoppable, rendering you immune to control effects for 4.4 seconds. This poison will also break you free of ongoing control effects. (10 second cooldown)
- Poisons: Damage Health: Poisons your enemy for 7 seconds
Mundus Stone
- Apprentice: overall my favorite because it benefits your healing and damage done in general
- Bonus: Increases Spell Damage by 238 (411 with 8 Legendary Divine Traits)
- Location: Reaper’s March, Bangkorai, The Rift, and Cyrodiil
- Atronach: Run if needing more sustain in content
- Bonus: Increases Magicka Recovery by 310 (535 with 8 Legendary Divine Traits)
- Location: Greenshade, Rivenspire, Shadowfen and Cyrodiil
Attributes
You want to reach 29,000 health inside of PvP (Cyrodiil Campaign/Battlegrounds). Put the rest into Magicka, mine is 64 Magicka.
Champion Points
I use the same setup for CP on stamina and magicka builds. The setup below leans more toward survivability than damage. Change as you see fit but I prefer to play tanky first then specialized for damage later.
Fitness
- Boundless Vitality [slot-able] Grants 28 Max Health per stage.
- Helps being more durable
- Slippery [slot-able] When you are affected by a disabling effect, you automatically break free for no cost. Has a 21 second cooldown
- Helps manage sustain and to break free from immobilizations
- Rejuvenation 50 [slot-able] Grants 3 Health, Magicka, and Stamina Recovery per stage.
- Helps with sustain
- Juggernaut 50 [slot-able]: While immune to crowed control, you take 2% less damage per stage.
- Helps surviving burst ultimates like Dawnbreaker and Soul Tether
Warfare
- Unassailable: Reduces your damage taken by area of effect attacks by 2% per stage.
- Help overall survivability
- Untamed Aggression 50 [slot-able] Increases your weapon and spell damage by 3 per point
- Helps with damage and healing
- Duelist’s Rebuff: Reduces your damage taken by single target attacks by 2% per stage.
- Helps with overall survivability
- Master-At-Arms: Increases your damage done with direct damage attacks by 2% per stage.
- Helps with overall damage
Craft
- Treasure Hunter 50 [slot-able] Increase the quality of items you find in treasure chests.
- Helps with farming gear
- Rationer 30 [slot-able] Adds 10 minutes to the duration of any food or drink that increases your character’s stats per stage.
- Helps save gold
- Liquid Efficiency 75 [slot-able] Whenever you use a potion or poison you have a 10% chance to not consume it.
- Helps save gold
- Steed’s Blessing 50 [slot-able] Increases your out of combat Movement Speed by .4% per stage.
