Should You Play This Build?
The ESO Magicka Templar PvP Omega is ideal for players looking to absolutely burst down single targets or nuke groups in AoE keeps, Cyrodiil, Battlegrounds or Solo Omega can do it all! It’s a semi-easy build to play but relies on bar swapping frequently to survive along with a super easy front bar making it not nearly as complex as other builds.

Bar One: Lighting Staff for Damage
Toppling Charge: gap closer with a stun that hits very hard
Degeneration: moderate damage over time that gives us major sorcerery increasing our damage
- [Waking Flame DLC] Destructive Clench with Master’s Frost staff to proc massive 600 spell damage and immobilization on target, oh yeah AND major maim!
Elemental Drain: armor debuff, resources sustain tool and a way to proc damage with gear sets
- [flex zerg fights] Proximity Detonation (morph of Magicka Detonation | Alliance War/Assault skill line): massive AoE damage to clumped up targets
- [Waking Flame DLC swap Purifying Light as it’ll scale off spell damage]
Puncturing Sweeps: main spammable with AoE healing
Radiant Glory: single target execute that heals us based on damage dealt
- Solar Barrage (morph of Solar Flare | Templar/Dawn’s Wrath skill line): strong AoE damage, empower light attacks and swap in for big keep fights
Crescent Sweep: AoE damage with increase damage by 60%
- [flex aoe fights] Eye of the Storm (morph of Elemental Storm | Weapon/Destruction staff skill line): flex in for massive AoE fights like in keeps.
Bar Two: Restoration Staff Survival
Channeled Focus: major resistances buff, increase our healing via minor mending and resources sustain
Extended Ritual : cleansing of five negate effects per cast used when taking a lot of DoTs or pressure
Race Against Time: mobility tool to use when immobilized or needing a burst of speed

- [flex stun] Binding Javelin: single target knockback and stun, used to punt people off of you

The below setup will make you very sturdy with great resource pool for healing, cleansing and casting buffs.
Engine Guardian: helm obtained in Darkshade Caverns II, shoulder from Maj with undaunted keys
- (1 item) Adds 129 Health Recovery
- (2 items) When you use an ability, you have a 25% chance to summon a Dwemer automation to restore 550 Stamina or Magicka or 1955 Health to you every 0.5 seconds for 6 seconds. This effect can occur once every 10 seconds.
WHY? using a lot of heavy armor will limit your resource regeneration unless taking pressure making Engine Guardian a great solution. You can swap to massive damage dealer like Balorg for high burst.
Mark of the Pariah: obtained in Overland Wrothgar or through guild traders
- (2 items) Adds 1206 Maximum Health
- (3 items) Adds 1487 Armor
- (4 items) Adds 1487 Armor
- (5 items) Increases your Physical Resistance and Spell Resistance by up to 10206 based on your missing Health. Current value: 2373
WHY? makes you incredibly tanky and very forgiving if you’re slow to react to incoming damage.
Shacklebreaker: Craftable 6 trait in Vvardenfell Morrowind DLC.

WHY? large stat pool allows you to spec heavily into health/resource sustain and makes surviving easier. Though can be flexed out for more damage/healing.

WHY? increases your weapon trait making it a great flexible 5 piece when you want more damage/more survivability all from one set.
Ancient Dragonguard: Craftable 6 trait in Souther-Elsweyr also tradeable with players
- (2 items) Adds 1206 Maximum Health
- (3 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage and Spell Damage
- (4 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance
- (5 items) Adds 300 Weapon Damage and Spell Damage while your Health is above 50%. Adds 3460 Physical Resistance and Spell Resistance while your Health is 50% or less.
WHY? Great set for higher damage builds that also flips on defensive mode below 50% paired very well with Pariah. Swap to this if you really struggle with breaking crowd control of panicky when taking pressure.

Gaze of Sithis (guide found here): obtain through ESO Mythic system
- (1 item) Adds 3276 Maximum Health, Adds 1025 Health Recovery, Adds 4000 Armor, Reduces your Block Mitigation to 0.
WHY? an absolute insane value for a one piece but requires us to not use sword and shield and reframe from blocking. Once you practice it is well worth it!
Domihaus (one piece only): found Falkreath Hold and Undaunted pledge system
- (1 item) Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina, Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
WHY? great value with much needed max stats for a one piece. Swarm Mothers also give same bonus.
Mechanical Acuity: A craftable set found in the Clockwork City Pavillion of Artifice
- (2 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina
- (3 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
- (4 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage and Spell Damage
- (5 items) When you deal direct damage, you gain unerring mechanical vision for 5 seconds, granting you 100% Critical Strike chance. This effect can occur once every 21 seconds.
WHY? utterly insane burst when proc’d
- [Flex] Clever Alchemist: a craftable set in Hew’s Bane. You need 7 traits researched to craft.
- (2 items) Adds 1206 Maximum Health
- (3 items) Adds 1206 Maximum Health
- (4 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage and Spell Damage
- (5 items) When you drink a potion during combat you feel a rush of energy, increasing your Weapon Damage and Spell Damage by 675 for 20 seconds.
Perfect Vestment of Olorime: a trial set from Cloudrest Veteran, but can be obtained via normal or flex in Spell Power Cure
- (2 items) Adds 129 Magicka Recovery
- (3 items) Gain Minor Aegis at all times, reducing your damage taken from Dungeon, Trial, and Arena Monsters by 5%.
- (4 items) Adds 129 Magicka Recovery
- (5 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka, Casting abilities that leave an effect on the ground in combat will create a circle of might for 5 seconds. You and your group members standing in the circle gain Major Courage for 20 seconds, increasing your Weapon Damage and Spell Damage by 430. This effect can occur once every 10 seconds.
WHY? Strong single target and group buff that has much better up time than SPC though lacks mobility.
- [Flex] Spell Power Cure: obtained in White Gold Tower dungeon and great for group play
- (2 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
- (3 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
- (4 items) Adds 129 Spell Damage
- (5 items) When you overheal yourself or an ally, you give the target Major Courage for 5 seconds which increases their Weapon Damage and Spell Damage by 430.
WHY? not only does it boost your spell damage (both healing/damage) but it’s a massive help to your party. Coordinated PvP groups will want this and Powerful Assault in their groups.
Perfected Destructive Impact: obtained in Veteran Dragonstar Arena.
- (2 items) Adds 103 Spell Damage, Reduces the cost of Destructive Touch by 10% and increases your Spell Damage by 600 for 4 seconds after activating it.
WHY? Waking Flames DLC this will hit hard, proc 600 spell damage, immobilize the target AND apply major maim reducing their damage!
- Perfected Vateshran: Found in Vateshran Hollows on veteran difficulty
- (2 items) Adds 1190 Spell Penetration, Casting Weakness to Elements on a target within 15 meters of you causes a surge of elemental energy to tether between you for 10 seconds. While the tether persists, enemies touching the tether take 331 Flame Damage, 331 Shock Damage, or 331 Frost Damage every 1 second, which increases by 1% each time it deals damage, up to 20%. This effect can occur once every 10 seconds, and scales off the higher of your Weapon or Spell Damage.
WHY? just having the extra spell penetration is great but the extra DoT in melee range makes it a must have!

Consumables
- Food: Clockwork Citrus: Increase Max Health by 3724, Health Recovery by 351, Max Magicka by 3458 and Magicka Recovery by 319 for 2 hours
- Potions: Tri-pots and Immovability
- Tri-pots: Restores Magicka, Stamina, and Health. These are great to use if you’re having issues with survivability and/or sustain
- Immovability: Immobilizes your target and grants you Unstoppable, rendering you immune to control effects for 4.4 seconds. This poison will also break you free of ongoing control effects. (10 second cooldown)
Mundus Stone
- The Mage:
- Bonus: Increases Maximum Magicka by 2023 ( 7 Divines armor pieces: 3309)
- Location: Grahtwood, Deshaan, Stormhaven
- Apprentice: a great choice because it benefits your healing and damage done in general
- Bonus: Increases Spell Damage by 238 (411 with 8 Legendary Divine Traits)
- Location: Reaper’s March, Bangkorai, The Rift, and Cyrodiil
- Atronach: Run if needing more sustain in content
- Bonus: Increases Magicka Recovery by 310 (535 with 8 Legendary Divine Traits)
- Location: Greenshade, Rivenspire, Shadowfen and Cyrodiil
Attribute Points
You want to reach 29,000 health inside of PvP (Cyrodiil Campaign/Battlegrounds). Then make sure you have at least 14,000 stamina and rest to magicka.

- Boundless Vitality [slot-able] Grants 28 Max Health per stage.
- Helps being more durable
- Slippery [slot-able] When you are affected by a disabling effect, you automatically break free for no cost. Has a 21 second cooldown
- Helps manage sustain and to break free from immobilizations
- Rejuvenation 50 [slot-able] Grants 3 Health, Magicka, and Stamina Recovery per stage.
- Helps with sustain
- Juggernaut 50 [slot-able]: While immune to crowed control, you take 2% less damage per stage.
