What is the Armory System?
The armory system in the Elder Scrolls Online is a quality of life upgrade that was added with the Deadlands DLC, being especially useful to console players who do not have access to addons to switch their setups for them at the press of a button.
The armory system basically adds the option for players to create premade skill and armor setups and quickly switch to them using an Armory Station in their home, or by using Ghrasharog, Armory Assistant from the Crown Store who allows you to change setups anywhere that isn’t a PvP location.
What is changing in the Armory System in High Isle?
When the High Isle chapter and update is released on the 6th of June, the armory system will also allow you to save a mundus stone to your build and quickly switch between them as needed. This saves you the hassle of having to travel to the mundus stone to pick it up. It is already possible to place mundus stones in your home to pick them up more quickly, but this update will streamline the process even more for players who are using the armory system.
A Mundus Stone in ESO (Elder Scrolls Online)The armory system is probably most useful for players who are running dungeons or trials with an optimized group and have separate setups that they switch between, for example one setup with high single target damage for fighting bosses, and another one with more area of effect damage for quickly clearing trash pulls.
Also another way you could access the armory system in ESO is by getting the Armory Station from the Special Furnishings category in the Crown Store (it’s free) and placing it in your home. Then simply interact with the station.
