How to Get Hazelnut in Enshrouded
You can get Hazelnut in Enshrouded by harvesting them from trees in the Revelwood area. Furthermore, to access this region, you will need to Strengthen your Flame Altar to Level 3.
If you have already found and reached the top of the Revelwood Ancient Spire, then you can easily use the fast travel point to return. Then, head to the northwest corner of the spire and jump off to glide in that direction. You won’t have to go far, as it is about midway between the small shrouded area and the ancient spire to the northwest.
What is Hazelnut, and what is it used for?
In Enshrouded you’ll use Hazelnut to create livestock food and bait with the Farmer. Specifically, you will need Hazelnuts for Flightless Redtail Food Bait, as well as Hophare Food Bait and Food.
Creating any of these livestock foods only requires the ingredients and the Farmer, no specific workstation. Hophares are clearly Enshrouded’s version of rabbits, and when tamed can be farmed for Animal Fur and Raw Lean Meat. To craft the Hophare Food Bait you will need:
- 1 Forest Beet
- 1 Hazelnut
- 1Strawberry
- 2 Corncob
Additionally, to craft the Hophare Food to care for your animals you’ll need:

Finally, the Flightless Redtails are the Enshrouded versions of chickens. So long as you keep them happy, they will produce Eggs, which can also be used to craft foods. To craft the Flightless Redtail Bait you will need:
- 1 Bell Pepper
- 1 Wheat Grains
- 1 Corncob
- 1 Dried Purple Berry
- 1 Hazelnut
