Unlocking Donkey Kong in Mario Kart World
The Mushroom Cup is the first competition in the game. All you need to do is attend the competition and finish all the races, i.e., Mario Bros. Circuit, Crown City, Whistletop Summit, and DK Spaceport.
Your finishing position in the race does not matter. Finishing the races would suffice. Once Mushroom Cup is over, you can choose Donkey Kong as a playable character.
This character belongs to the heavyweight class. He has a high top speed but low acceleration. Although drifting with Donkey Kong is fun, things can get out of hand if you lose control.
