Once again, there will be nerfs and buffs for different heroes on the roster in Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 Dev Vision. These balance changes are aimed at making the game more fun and thrilling while improving its competitive quality. The ability kits of two heroes, Jeff and Thor, have also been tweaked. Characters like Captain America, Iron Fist, Groot, and Emma Frost (among many others) are getting nerfed due to their dominance in Season 2. However, some heroes like Doctor Strange are being buffed to increase their pick rates.

3. New Experimental Mode

A limited-time experimental mode is being added to Marvel Rivals. Ultron’s Battle Matrix Protocol will launch on all platforms on June 6 UTC. It is a strategy-based game mode that is very different from what players are used to in the fast-paced environment of the 6v6 hero shooter. You will select your own team, place them on a battleground against an enemy team, and assist them on the field as an Ultron bot.

Characters fighting in the strategy match will also receive different buffs, such as Venom becoming larger than life in size and Namor spawning an entire army of Monstro Spawns.

4. New Customization Systems

At last, the devs have answered player requests. A brand-new UI system is coming to Marvel Rivals. Now, you will see the Lord icons of the heroes you have reached Lord proficiency with while selecting from the character wheel. In terms of customization visible to opponents: Moods and Emojis. Players can use Moods to display them on the Nameplate for everyone to see. Emojis, on the other hand, can be used during a match like Emotes and Sprays; they will appear next to you as a sort of “thought bubble.”
