The three new games being added to PlayStation Plus for the month of May 2025 have been announced, and there’s some good ones.
A new month brings a new set of games to the PlayStation Plus subscription service. You can claim these games to be added to your library and play them whenever you desire (as long as you remain subscribed, of course).
You can claim these games starting May 6, 2025. Moreover, you should remember to claim the games from last month, as they will only be available until May 5.

Ark: Survival Ascended
The famous survival series is joining the PlayStation subscription. This co-op and multiplayer game revolves around one fundamental concept: survival. However, you must not only survive the threats of nature (which includes dinosaurs) but also other players.
You can either play in a lobby filled with up to 70 players or have a private eight-person lobby. The game supports local split-screen as well. This game also includes all of Ark’s worlds, including Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, Ark Genesis Part 1, Ark Genesis Part 2, and others. This game is exclusively for the PlayStation 5.
Balatro
The breakout indie hit from last year is about to be playable through PlayStation Plus. This game received immense praise from fans and critics alike owing to its (too) addictive gameplay loop.
Balatro puts a spin on the classic game of Poker and lets you use different abilities based on the jokers, tarots, and special cards you add to your deck. This rogue-like game is available for the PlayStation 4 and 5.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun
This FPS game is set in the famous Warhammer 40,000 universe and lets you live out the war between the Space Marines and daemons of Chaos. You can let loose your anger as you rip and tear through waves of enemies using a plethora of weapons and destructive forces.
The game has a pixelated art style, which lets older audiences live out their childhoods in retro fashion. This title will be playable on the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 5 as well.
