Beedrill can be a menace in competitive matches during Legends Z-A with the best moveset and nature in the game.
Beedrill is one of the many Bug-type Pokemon in Legends Z-A. And thanks to wielding the power of Mega Evolution, it is one of the most powerful Bug-types in the game. The Bug/Poison-type Pokemon can deal enormously high damage very quickly, but can go down just as fast.
To make the most of this glass cannon, here is the best moveset and nature for Beedrill in Legends Z-A.
Best Beedrill Moveset in Pokemon Legends Z-A
The best moveset for Beedrill is as follows:
- U-Turn
- Poison Jab
- Toxic
- Drill Run
Beedrill is a Physical attacker with very low Special Attack, which drops even further with Mega Evolution. So its moves should all be Physical in nature. Additionally, Beedrill is very fragile (even in its Mega Evolution). Therefore, keeping it away from enemy attacks is key.
U-Turn is excellent for this purpose, letting Beedrill perform hit-and-run attacks. Poison Jab is a powerful Poison-type Physical move, perfect for Beedrill. Toxic can let you poison enemy units badly. This lets you leave them to lose on their own over time.
Finally, Drill Run can be used to counter Rock- and Fire-types, both of which are good against Beedrill. However, as stated above, it is risky to use as Beedrill is so frail. So, if you want, you can replace it with Pin Missile, which is safer and does more damage on average. But in doing so, you lose a counter against some of Beedrill’s weaknesses.

Beedrill is not a bulky Pokemon by any means. In fact, its Defense is so low that it may not even be worth it to increase it, as you might still be knocked out in one hit. In this case, the best stats to invest in are Attack and Special Defense. You can also go for Speed if you want slightly lower cooldown times. The best Natures for Beedrill are:
- Adamant (+Atk/-SpA)
- Careful (+SpD/SpA)
To adjust your Beedrill’s nature so that it affects what you want, you can use a Nature Mint.

You can either catch Beedrill in Wild Zone 15 or catch and evolve a Weedle into Kakuna, and then into Beedrill. Meanwhile, Weedle can be found in Wild Zone 1, and Kakuna can be found in both Wild Zones 2 and 7.
