Everything you need to know about Resident Evil Requiem’s PC system requirements, including the recommended GPU, and more.

Resident Evil Requiem is easily one of the most highly anticipated games of 2026. Although publisher Capcom did announce the game’s release date with the announcement trailer, pre-orders for the title did not go live until very recently. Much like some of Capcom’s biggest recent releases, RE Requiem is coming exclusively to the current generation consoles and PC.
In fact, it’s the first game from Capcom that’s shipping with support for Path Tracing, including both RTGI and RTAO. However, the game’s increased graphical fidelity comes at the cost of higher system requirements. Surprisingly enough, RE Requiem’s minimum specifications are quite low, which does hint at a well-optimized PC port.
Here’s everything you need to know about Resident Evil Requiem’s PC system requirements.

Here are the minimum and recommended PC specifications for Resident Evil Requiem:

The system requirements for Resident Evil Requiem are almost identical to those of Monster Hunter Wilds. This shouldn’t come as a surprise, considering Requiem is built using the same engine as MHW, i.e., RE Engine. However, the specifications between the two titles have one major difference – Frame Generation.
Unlike Monster Hunter Wilds, Resident Evil Requiem’s specifications do not mention the use of Frame Generation. As such, it’s possible that the game will be better optimized compared to MHW.

Will Resident Evil Requiem Support Path Tracing on Consoles?

No, considering the taxing nature of the technology, Path Tracing is currently only available on top-end PC hardware. However, based on past RE Engine titles released on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, the console version of RE Requiem should feature a toggle for Ray Tracing. That said, RT in RE Engine (on consoles) is limited only to shadows and global illumination.
