Dead Rails is one of the most played games on Roblox. Developed by RCM Games, Dead Rails has over 4.4 billion visits, making it a viral sensation. The game recently received a new update (Stillwater Prison Update), which included new content such as a new POI (Point of Interest) and weaponry.
One of the new weapons added to the game is Excalibur. It is a unique melee weapon. This article will provide a step-by-step guide on how to unlock this weapon in Dead Rails.
How To Unlock Excalibur in Dead Rails
Follow this step-by-step guide to unlock Excalibur in Dead Rails:
- Step 1: First, stock up on supplies for your journey ahead. Make sure you have plenty of rifle ammo, healing items like Snake Oil, and explosive weapons such as Holy Water, Molotovs, or Crucifixes. Also, make sure you have armor on.
- Step 2: Choose any class that suits your playstyle. You can choose the Hunter class for ranged combat.
- Step 3: Locate the Stillwater Prison. The Stillwater Prison is the new POI that is part of the update. It spawns randomly between 9,000–30,000 meters and 49,000–60,000 meters.
- Step 4: Clear the prison. You have to eliminate the Covenant Knights (wielding cavalry swords) and Covenant Archers (using crossbows). Use ranged weapons to take out enemies from a distance.
- Step 5: After you clear the enemies, go to the central courtyard, where you will see Excalibur embedded in a stone. Interact with the stone (hold the E key) for 30 seconds to pull Excalibur.
- Step 6: After pulling out Excalibur, you will have to face Goliath, a mini-boss with 3,000 HP. Use your newly equipped weapon to defeat Goliath.

- Damage: 15 (75 DPS), 90 (charged)
- Swing Rate:
- Charge-Up Time: 1.2 seconds (time required to prepare a fully charged swing).
- Standard Swing: 0.2 seconds (allowing 5 swings per second, contributing to the 75 DPS).
- Range: 10 (typical reach for melee attacks).
- Lightning Effect: 20% chance to strike enemies with AoE lightning
Note: Excalibur is an unsellable item.
