The Mirage Mutation in Grow a Garden is one of the new mutations that players can acquire as part of the Safari Harvest. The event introduces a bunch of new weather events and pets. So, it’s only natural that new mutations are available too. Mirage Mutation has the maximum sell value multiplier amongst the new ones in the game. Therefore, most players would want to get their hands on it. The following guide should help you get the mutation and understand how it benefits your plants.

Getting the Mirage Mutation in Grow a Garden

Currently, there are three ways in which you can get your hands on the Mirage Mutation. These include:

Safari Oasis Weather Event

The Safari Oasis weather event isn’t available by default when you load up the Safari Harvest update for the first time. Instead, you and other players in the game will need to accumulate 15,000,000,000 milestone points before the specific weather event becomes available. Once unlocked, the Safari Oasis weather event can take place any random time. Or, you can activate it manually using the Safari Totem charm, which you can purchase from the Safari Shop. With the weather event active, plants in your garden might receive the Mirage Mutation.

The next method of getting the Mirage Mutation involves purchasing the Trinity Fruit Seed from the Seed Shop for 15B Sheckles. Besides the high price, the seed in question is an event exclusive Transcendent rarity variant, which can make it difficult to find in stock at the shop. Even if you manage to get the seed and plant it in the garden, it only grants nearby plants a chance to receive the Mirage Mutation. The Trinity Fruit Plant can grant nearby plants any of the Safari Harvest exclusive mutations at random. So, a lot of it is up to chance.

Rhino Pet

Perhaps the best way to grab the mutation would be to get a Rhino Pet in your garden. This pet rams into a random plant in your garden every 23 minutes and 43 seconds, granting it the Mirage Mutation. However, make sure your garden doesn’t have any unhatched egg, or the Rhino will ram into the egg instead of a plant. When that happens, the hatch time for the egg is halved, but you won’t get the Mirage Mutation.

We suggest filling your garden with as many Rhino pets as possible. This will ensure that you maximize the number of plants that receive the Mirage Mutation.

Mirage Mutation Effects

The Mirage Mutation in Grow a Garden will add a 13x value multiplier to the fruits of the plants affected. So, if the mutation affects one of the higher valued plants, you can get rich in no time.
