Upgrading your stats will help you defeat higher-tier and armored enemies.
Equipment dropped by enemies can be used to upgrade your weapons. You can also purchase or upgrade skills, which allow you to perform special moves on enemies. The game also features a Pet system. Pets provide slight stat boosts and can be hatched from a variety of eggs. Keep in mind that pets do not attack enemies or defend you.
Rebirths
You can achieve Rebirths in the game to further boost your stats and travel to different worlds. Rebirthing also multiplies your base damage and defense stats. You will keep all your items when you rebirth, but you will lose all stat points and money. Once you rebirth, you must start again from the lower-tier enemies and work your way up. Although your equipment remains high-tier, your base stats will not initially match up against tougher enemies after a rebirth.
