Both the races believe that there is only one way to reach the paradise ‘Erin.’ The way is solely by eliminating the other race that stands in their path. This is a prophecy made by the gods.
You will join the game as a member of the Calbram Mercenary Corps, which is part of the human force. It is up to you to make a decision about what is right or wrong and who is right or wrong. The journey follows your path to discover true justice, leaning behind the choice that will shape the destiny and fate of this world.
Northern Ruins in Vindictus: Defying Fate
This is one of the three primary worlds in Vindictus: Defying Fate. The Northern Ruins is a terrain in ruins, closely resembling an ancient temple. These ruins are currently under the siege of the ‘Nolls,’ a former force. This is where the main battle of the story takes place during the alpha phase. This will also act as the tutorial as well as the starting area in the game.
This area seamlessly mixes the visual aesthetics of an ancient ruin as well as newfound buildings of a newly established force. The ‘Nolls,’ who lead a nomadic life, are beginning to establish a base. This in turn is spreading a wave of tension throughout the entire region.
Ice Valley in Vindictus: Defying Fate
Cryovolcanic activity has led to what has formed the crystalline landscape. This area mixes the beautiful valley structures and caves, both from an indoor and outdoor perspective. It is also designed with a functional structure in mind to facilitate the mining site. This area is under the ‘Kobolds’ tribe. This tribe is known for their strong figure as well as their excellent labor forces, so you can be sure to expect conflict over resources.
Korhen Street in Vindictus: Defying Fate
Last but not least, Korhen Street is the town that will serve as the base for your entire game. This is where you will be able to access most of the content for your main story from. A once heavily damaged town at the hands of the Fomorians has now been rebuilt to its former glory through the constant efforts of the residents. This now serves as a garrison for the Calbram Mercenary Corps.
This town is a symbol of a world where war and peace coexist. There are a lot of different options you will be a guest to, including meeting major NPCs, wardrobe rooms, and a variety of customisation functions. You will also have access to exclusive weapon crafting and community play in this space. This is once you have cleared through the main story.
