With the Safari Harvest Event update, we got a brand-new season pass with loads of rewards that include new plants and pets. One of the main highlights is the Hydra pet. Unlike other pets in this update that you can get from the Safari Egg, this Divine-tier pet can only be unlocked from the Season Pass if you reach a certain level. Which requires a lot of grinding. What makes this pet unique is its ability to hatch eggs instantly, age itself up, and spread Terran mutations across your garden.

Hydra Pet in Grow a Garden
The Hydra has a pale green and yellow lizard-like body with three heads, each showing sharp teeth and red tongues. It has four legs with dark green hooves, spikes along its neck and back, and a long tail that fades from light to dark green.

Hydra Traits and Abilities

| Three-Headed | Every 41:40–20:50 minutes, the Hydra ages itself by 1, fully hatches an egg, and applies a Terran mutation to a random fruit. Cannot be mimicked or refreshed. |
| Earth Deity | When selling Terran-mutated fruits, there’s a 6–12% chance that a random mutation from that fruit will spread to another fruit in your garden. |
How To Get the Hydra Pet
The only way to get the Hydra is from the Season 2 pass, as it cannot be hatched from eggs. You can unlock it by reaching Level 47, which will take a lot of grinding and XP. The pass is valid till December 6, 2025, so there is plenty of time for you to complete your daily quests and gain enough XP.
Once you reach Level 47, you can claim the Hydra from the Pass button on the left side of your screen.
