Where Winds Meet features some of the most gorgeous landscapes we’ve seen in gaming recently, and these beautiful locations are enhanced by the game’s day-night time-changing cycle. You get to visit these locations under the bright lights of the sun, as well as the soft shades of the moon. You’ll eventually grow to like one more than the other, and you’ll want to change the time.

Apart from the aesthetics, you’ll also want to change time, as certain quests dictate that you pursue them at a specific time. Time changing, therefore, is much more than just a gimmick and is tied to the quests themselves. If you’re wondering how to change time in Where Winds Meet, our guide is here to help you with it.

You can change the time in Where Winds Meet by following the steps below:

  • Enter the menu and click on the Clock icon.
  • You will now see a clock on your screen. You can use this clock to adjust and change the time as you see fit.
  • The clock also allows you to skip forward by multiple days. This allows you to progress through events that are time-dependent. Take note, however, that you can only skip time by 2 days. You can fast forward up to the day after, and no more. So if you want to skip further ahead, you’ll have to skip 2 days, and then 2 days again, and then so forth.

Why Should You Change Time in Where Winds Meet

The main reason why you want to change the time in Where Winds Meet is due to the time-specific events. Some quests in the game can only be progressed at night. Instead of sitting and waiting for the sun to go down, you can fast-forward time to progress to the night and play the quest.

Apart from quests, you may also want to pursue other activities at night. For instance, the game allows you to steal from NPCs. While doing so, you want to avoid getting caught. The best time to steal, therefore, is after the sun goes down. With the ability to skip and change time, you’ll be able to play the game as you like and at your own pace.
