Destiny 2 Lost Memento Fix

Bungie just released a statement on their Bungie Help X (formerly Twitter) profile stating that they fixed an issue preventing players from earning the Lost Memento in Destiny more than once. This limited-time and highly sought after memento will allow players to apply an all black shader to any crafted weapon that has the memento inserted into it. This is something Destiny 2 players have been asking to get for a very long time. The fix states that, “Additional Festival Mementos are now dropping from Eerie Engrams.”

Now in order to acquire the Lost Memento, you must first unlock it by completing the secret “Twilight” triumph with hidden objectives. Luckily guardians are now aware of what those objectives are:

  • Complete the Fallen S.A.B.E.R. Strike with the Clovis Bray mask equiped.
  • Defeat 100 enemies on Neomuna with the Nimbus mask equipped.
  • Defeat 25 enemies with finishers with the Tormentor mask equipped.

Once you have completed these objectives and turned in the Triumph, you will earn the memento. After that you should get them randomly from turning in Eerie Engrams. So get to farming guardian.

Destiny 2 Heads Will Roll Fix

Bungie’s second fix mentioned in the tweet states, “The “Heads Will Roll” Event Challenge can now be completed in both Normal and Legend Haunted Sectors.” This challenge required players to defeat Headless Ones in order to earn the Tormentor Mask. This mask is of course needed to earn the memento. This should allow players to get this particular challenge done in their preferred difficulty. And since that mask is required to get the most coveted shader in all of Destiny 2, its a nice Quality of Life change.
