Best ESO Builds: Update 41 & Scions of Ithelia

Update 41 & Scions of Ithelia introduced two new dungeons, gear sets, and mythic, to ESO, and it made many small changes to existing builds.

Updated: March 11, 2024, update 41 and Scions of Ithelia in The Elder Scrolls Online. In update 41 and Patch 9.3.5, the developers add two new dungeons, change status effects, and make big changes to class balancing. New gear sets are weak compared to existing items in ESO and didn’t radically change current setups. Notably, changes include minor adjustments to classes and status effects, so here is a summary of what you need to know about Update 41:

1. Class Balance – Arcanist PvE DPS nerfed, Necromancer reworked, Sorcerer buffed
2. Gear Sets – 8 new sets from dungeons, 3 from rewards of the worthy, and 1 new mythic
3. Status Effects – Balance changes keep mainly the same setups with anticipated DPS loss
4. Quality of Life – Helpful changes to Cyrodiil, inventory management, and increased Undaunted Keys
5. New Content – Two new dungeons, a prologue quest, and many new collectibles
