Destiny 2 Arc Titan PvP Build

This guide gives weapons, exotics, and armor mods for a Destiny 2 Arc Titan PvP Build, intended for PvP players!

Destiny 2 Arc Titan PvP Build

We are currently updating this build for Season of the Wish.  Check back soon with more details about the changes made to this build.

Why Should You Play Arc Titan in PvP?

Arc Titan in PvP has good survivability, and as a result, you can play close-range battles. However, remember about positioning and always try to be aware of your surroundings, because no armor or build will make you unkillable. You can still survive much more than other classes, and subclasses.  If you enjoy the power fantasy of running up into your enemies face and taking them out with your bare hands, this is the build for you.

ProsCons
Beginner FriendlyAggressive Playstyle Required
Good SurvivabilityPoor Long Range
Great Short Range

Arc Titan PvP Playstyle

This build just utilizes over shields and the speed of Arc subclasses to just run up into your enemies face and destroy them. As you run up, slide, shoot, and then melee all in quick succession. This will often outright kill an enemy. And with enough practice you can recover to quickly kill another enemy as well.

Abilities

Some abilities, aspects and fragments need to be unlocked before use. In order to do that, Destiny 2 players need to visit Ikora in the Tower and do the related quest or purchase them from her. Lastly, if you bought new aspects and fragments don’t forget to “meditate”. Simply click the “meditate” option on the table next to Ikora.

Thundercrash

Thruster

Catapult Lift

Pulse Grenade

Seismic Strike

Thundercrash – Very powerful super that is very effective. Essentially a free kill.

Thruster – Ability uptime is key for this build, so thruster is a better choice to keep Juggernaut up more often.

Catapult Lift – This really comes down to personal preference, so feel free to flex another lift if you prefer it.

Pulse Grenade – An easy to use control grenade. Storm grenades are also effective.

Seismic Strike – While you are amplified, the blind radius is increased. A powerful, fast melee. A required choice for this build.

Aspects

Juggernaut

Knockout

Juggernaut – Overshields in PvP are very powerful and this one is granted just for sprinting.

Knockout – Pairs excellently with any hyper aggressive build.

Fragments

Spark of Resistance

Spark of Haste

Spark of Feedback

Spark of Frequency

Spark of Resistance : Mostly used for the buff to Strength.

Spark of Haste : Getting buffs for sprinting is an easy choice considering sprinting is going to be done a lot with this build.

Spark of Feedback : Gives a huge advantage in a melee fight.

Spark of Frequency : Will help out in a pinch to reload your weapons considering you will be in the thick of it often.

Swashbuckler

Imperial Decree – Obtained from the Leviathan Weapon Engrams at the War Table. A great Kinetic Shotgun that is easy to obtain.

Centrifuse – Obtained from the Season of the Deep season pass. A great midrange weapon that pairs well with Arc builds.

Cry Mutiny – Obtained from the Monument to Lost Lights.

Exotic Armor

Exotic Armor Mod

Antaeus Wards – Obtained from Exotic Engrams. Gives us a second overshield which is very powerful with a build that requires charging into the fray.

Dunemarchers – Obtained from Exotic Engrams. A more offensive option than the Wards. It sacrifices survivability for the potential to take out multiple enemies at once.
