Here’s how you can perform the Launch OTG Reaction move with the Vi Character in 2XKO: Controller and Keyboard controls included.

The Launch OTG (On the Ground) Reaction is a potent offensive technique in 2XKO. It lets you extend your combos by striking down a broken opponent, launching them back into the air, and overwhelming them with your chained combos. You can perform the Launch OTG move with almost any character. However, with Vi, things are a lot easier. Below is a guide on how you can do it with Vi.
Before you begin, note that timing is crucial to performing this move. It’s easy to simulate in practice mode against a bot, especially under controlled circumstances. In a real match, against skilled opponents, it gets a lot harder.
Note: We are focusing on default controls, which are included by default. If you have customized those, ensure you follow your own layout; the rest of the context remains unchanged.

How To Perform the Launch OTG with Vi

With Vi, this method is pretty straightforward. Once you hop into training mode, you can literally reproduce this in seconds.
Step 1: Introduce Your Opponent to the Ground
First, you need to knock your opponent to the ground with a hard knockdown. Follow the instructions below:
- Input: Forward + Heavy Attack
- Keyboard: Hold D + Press L
- Controller: Hold Forward on the Left Stick + Press Circle / B
Step 2: Execute the Launch
As soon as you greet them warmly on the ground, quickly follow up with Vi’s launcher move, “Crater Maker.” Here’s how you do it.
- Input: Down + Special 2
- Keyboard: Hold S + Press “,” (Comma key)
- Controller: Hold Down on the Left Stick + Press R2 / RT
If you time this correctly, Vi will punch the ground, and a burst of lightning will erupt, launching the opponent into the air. With their guard down to that extent, you can follow up chained combos and finish them without giving them the chance to blink.
