Nvidia released the RTX 5060 on May 19, 2025, as its latest GPU for the budget market. It brings a definite 20 – 25% performance improvement over its predecessor, making it more capable of delivering smooth 60 FPS in many demanding AAA games, even the newest ones like The Last of Us: Part 2 or Doom: The Dark Ages, with High graphics settings.

If you bought the RTX 5060 or are thinking about buying it, I would like to recommend some games to try with your new RTX GPU. You will find these games in the list shared below.

List of Some of the Best AAA Games for RTX 5060

1) Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is an action RPG title set in the futuristic metropolis called Night City. You are put in the shoes of V, a mercenary who engages in a series of events that lead to a power shift in Night City. This game has also received a story expansion DLC called Phantom Liberty, which takes things to a whole new level. Cyberpunk 2077 supports all the latest features of RTX 5060, including DLSS 4 MFG, which can significantly boost its FPS at 1080p, even with ray tracing enabled.

2) Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy takes you to the wonderful Hogwarts Castle, a magical school of Wizards and Witchcraft, and anything is possible. If you are a fan of Harry Potter movies or grew up watching them, then this is a game you don’t want to miss.

It’s a story-driven open-world title that features many iconic locations you have seen in the movies, including the Forbidden Forest, Hogsmeade, and more. The game runs surprisingly well on the RTX 5060 with High settings at 1440p. You can even enable ray tracing without losing any performance, thanks to the DLSS technology.

3) Resident Evil 4 Remake

After Resident Evil 4’s original launch in 2005, it became a cult classic. In fact, I completed and replayed the original three times before the remake was released. After playing the original and remake, I love the new one even more, thanks to its faithful recreation of the original game but with updated visuals, gameplay mechanics, deeper character arc and exploration, and more. It’s a game that you should play on your new RTX 5060. The game can be played at 1440p with High graphics settings and 60+ FPS.

4) Alan Wake 2

Alan Wake 2 is one of the best games in the psychological horror genre and takes things to a whole new level compared to the original game. There are two playable characters in the game: Saga Anderson and Alan Wake. The game goes deep in exploring both characters and how they are affected by the Dark Presence of Cauldron Lake. Alan Wake 2 also shares the game’s universe with Remedy’s other games, such as Control and Max Payne, so characters and elements from those games are intertwined, which leads to a fantastic experience.

5) The Last of Us: Parts 1 & 2

The Last of Us: Part 1 and Part 2 are two excellent games from Sony’s first-party Naughty Dog studio. Both story-driven titles focus on exploitation, combat, gunplay mechanics, and more. The story of the first centers around two main characters, Joel and Ellie, and their journey in a zombie-infested post-apocalyptic world, while the second one focuses on the aftermath of the events in the first game. Both games run well on the RTX 5060 at 1080p with High graphics settings.

This concludes the small list of games I recommend playing on the new RTX 5060. Each title is from a different genre, and I believe you will love them all. However, I recommend starting with the Resident Evil 4 Remake because it is a fun action game with optimum game time. Once you have completed it, you can get on with the other games in any order.
