Budget laptops out there feature graphics solutions such as the RTX 3050, RTX 3050A, and the RTX 3050 6GB. Three of these are 3050s, but they differ significantly in their technical specifications. There is considerable variation in their performance. The 3050 6GB is a much more capable card among the other two, and can at least let you play AAA titles of 2025. However, for the other two, and the 3050 6GB, below are a handful of choices that will run the best.

1. BioShock Infinite (2013)

Arguably one of the best games of the past decade, both visually and story-telling-wise. Rest assured, with the RTX 3050, any of the mobile versions, you can easily max out the game and play at high framerates at 1080p. You can even use mods or Lossless Scaling to upscale to a higher resolution, then turn on Adaptive Frame Generation to max out your monitor’s refresh rate.

2. Batman: Arkham Knight (2015)

The best-looking Batman game runs like an absolute charm on either of the RTX 3050s. Built on the Unreal Engine 3, the game’s visuals, physics, and gameplay challenge the existence of games like Gotham Knights. Lossless Scaling is available for your use; consider upscaling and enabling adaptive frame generation if high settings don’t yield 120+ frames.  Alternatively, you can enjoy locked 60 FPS and the rain within the game.

3. Dragon Age: Inquisition (2014)

If you are looking to play an RPG that runs exceptionally well on lower-end devices, and has incredible gameplay on offer. Then Dragon Age: Inquisition is for you. With the 4GB model, if you run out of VRAM, just tone down the texture and shadows settings, and you will be good to go.

4. Half-Life 2 (2004)

One of the best shooter games ever created, and that too with a super deep storyline. Even with external mods, such as texture and shaders, you can expect to play the game at above 60 FPS. You can even try the RTX mod and see how things fare. Lossless Scaling is there to clutch if performance falls too short.

5. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag (2013)

This is arguably the best Assassin’s Creed game ever created. However, the game was challenging to run when it came out, due to its unoptimized nature. Over time, and with modern hardware, playing this with any of the 3050s won’t be an issue.

Verdict

All of these titles will run without an issue on any of the RTX 3050 mobile graphics. There are plenty more titles, such as the Portal series, the Serious Sam series, the Need for Speed, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Ghost Recon Wildlands. All of these are highly optimized titles, and you will surely have a great experience playing this, in contrast to modern-day AAA titles. That said, any iteration of the RTX 3050 is an excellent fit for esports titles such as Counter-Strike 2, DOTA 2, and Valorant.
