Here are the five best optimized titles for your Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU, regardless of any TGP up to 140W or more.

The RTX 5070 laptop GPU is powered by the latest generation Blackwell GPU architecture and comes with 8GB of VRAM. Spec-wise, it isn’t much of an upgrade in contrast to the 4070 mobile. Below are a few titles that stay well within the VRAM limits and will perform nicely on your RTX 5070 laptop.

1. Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor

Without upscaling, you can expect to max out this game and still max out your monitor’s refresh rate. Shadow of Mordor is an open-world action game built on the LithTech engine and is extremely well optimized. It’s a lot older title, but if you are into RPGs, definitely give this one a shot. Not only will you enjoy great visuals, from 2014, which still looks good, but also high framerates, and without the fear of running out of 8GB VRAM.
2. Far Cry 3 (2012)

Arguably the best Far Cry ever created. You can max out the game, stay within the VRAM limits, and even use mods to enhance the gameplay and enjoy the game. Far Cry 3 is not well-optimized, but it ends up here because the compute power within the 5070 can easily brute-force the game’s optimization issues. As for framerates, you can expect well over 100FPS at stock ultra settings with MSAA 2x anti-aliasing at your laptop’s given resolution, provided it’s between 1440p.
3. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (2016)

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is a game that runs smoothly, looks great, and is extremely enjoyable to play. Yes, it’s older, but you can play Cyberpunk if you’re not into older titles. That said, story-wise, gameplay-wise, it’s a great pick. A 5070 laptop GPU will be more than enough to max out your laptop’s display’s maximum refresh rate.
4. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (2019)

Built on the Unreal Engine 4, the game initially faced a lot of stuttering and performance issues. Currently, you can enjoy the game with high settings, preferably with upscaling options, which will ensure that you get a high framerate. You can opt for native AA if you are not happy with the upscaled tradeoffs. Rest assured, the framerate will be well over 60.
5. Middle-earth: Shadow of War

Sequel to the Shadows of Modor, Shadows of War takes graphics to another level. The game is a rasterized masterpiece, and despite its age, it still looks good, plays like butter, and doesn’t rely on upscaling to hit higher framerates. No matter which build you are playing, necromancer or shadow-mancer, the framerates won’t hold you back, even with maxed-out settings.
Verdict
All of the games mentioned here will run flawlessly on the RTX 5070 laptop. Although these titles are much older than modern-day AAA, they still outperform newer titles in terms of visuals, with titles like Fallen Order and Shadow of War looking and feeling much better. You can play titles such as Cyberpunk: 2077 and Mafia: The Old Country, but these require heavy tuning to stay within the 8GB VRAM limits.
