1. F1 25 (Racing)

The latest installment of the fan favorite racing title has been updated recently to fix the game’s inconsistencies with AI drivers. That said, you can crank the settings to the absolute max and still enjoy the game. Or, if you are one of those players who love to do PVP and play with high-FPS competitive settings, then you are covered, too. Just ensure you have a CPU that is a 14900K with fast DDR5 memory or a Ryzen 7 7800X3D or higher X3D variant, as this game is heavily CPU-bound with competitive settings.

2. God of War Ragnarok (Action-Adventure)

One of the finest-looking and most optimized action-adventure titles ever created. You can either max out the game at 4K, lock the frame rate to somewhere around your display’s variable refresh rate range, and play with a controller. Or. You can rely on FSR or even FSR frame generation to achieve high FPS. You won’t run out of VRAM on either approach.

3. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (FPS)

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a highly optimized game released back in 2024. In terms of VRAM usage, you can expect the game to peak at 10GB of VRAM after long multiplayer or zombie shooting gameplay sessions. Regarding FPS, you can max out and still gain 120+ FPS, but for competitive settings, ensure you have a CPU that is at least a 14900K tuned with fast DDR5 or a 7800X3D or higher X3D variant. This is because, in competitive settings, the game becomes heavily CPU-bound when focusing mainly on low and medium settings.

4. Dragon Age: The Veilguard (RPG)

Give Dragon’s Age: The Veilguard a try if you have played Inquisition before. The RX 9070 XT has enough horsepower to tackle this game’s RT requirements at native 1440p. At 4K, you’ll need to rely on FSR upscaling to keep a high frame rate. Then again, you can turn off RT and play without using upscaling at native 4K.

5. Resident Evil 4 (Survival Horror)

With the new remake, RE4 is even more fun to play. Turn on RT at 4K, max out everything, and the optimization is just spot on, and the game will run flawlessly on your 9070 XT. If you prefer 1440p, that’s no problem either. You might as well try out community mods from Nexus Mods and make the game even more addictive.

Verdict

All of the games mentioned here will run flawlessly on your RX 9070 XT. The game lists don’t stop here; you can also try Cyberpunk: 2077 with the new FSR 4 update, Mafia: The Old Country, and many other such options. Just ensure you have the latest drivers and the latest FSR upscaler, which you can swap using DLSS Swapper or perform a driver toggle, and you are good to go.
