What Are the Best Games To Play on the RTX 5090?

1) Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 features some of the most elaborate ray tracing technologies we’ve seen to date. This is an action RPG title set in a dystopian place called Night City, where the line between man and machine has blurred. If you enable ray tracing, the game will look as if Night City has come to life. The results are simply breathtaking.

The game has also received a story expansion DLC, which has been an absolute hit among the fans. It has greatly expanded the story length to around 70 – 80 hours, including side missions. Cyberpunk 2077 is one game you don’t want to miss playing on the RTX 5090.

2) Black Myth: Wukong

Black Myth: Wukong is a souls-like game with impressive visuals. The lighting and the water reflections are already quite impressive in the game, but it can take things to the next level with ray tracing enabled. Only the RTX 5090 can fully utilize its full ray tracing capabilities without destroying the game’s performance.

Also, unlike other Souls games, Wukong features a rich story, impressive cinematics, and a deeper integration of Chinese cultural mythology. Souls game fans will find themselves at home with the game’s combat. It has some of the toughest boss battles.

3) Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a turn-based title dialed to eleven. While it includes traditional turn-based mechanics, Kepler Interactive has integrated real-time gameplay mechanics, including quick-time events, dodging, and even parrying, which resulted in an impressive array of combat mechanics. This innovative implementation, or more precisely, reimplementation of the turn-based approach, has impressed many gamers.

4) Alan Wake 2

If you want a game that jolts you to the core and keeps your attention glued to the screen at all times, Alan Wake 2 is the game you need to play. It is a direct sequel to the original 2010 release, but has expanded on the game tremendously. This is to be expected from a game released 13 years later, considering the technological and graphical improvements in the game industry.

What truly surprised everyone, though, was how well written the story is and how the developer managed to tie in the supernatural elements to it. Alan Wake 2 and its visuals are best enjoyed on the RTX 5090.

5) The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt may be an old entry, but it certainly deserves to be on this list. Not only is it one of the most impressive RPGs to date, but it also received multiple DLCs over the years that greatly expanded the story. In 2022, the game received a free next-gen update, which not only addressed several pain points of the old gameplay mechanics but also introduced ray tracing.

With all the ray tracing options enabled, the game looks absolutely phenomenal, considering it originally released over 10 years ago. It looks like any other modern game now, thanks to the next-gen update.
