Battlefield 6 is all set to launch on October 10, 2025, but you don’t have to wait that long to get a taste of how the game plays. That’s because EA is conducting Open Beta Test programs, where users have the chance to play the game before it officially launches and provide feedback on it.
The first Open Beta testing happened on August 9 – 10, which is now over. If you didn’t manage to play it during that period, the beta will open up again on August 14 – 17, 2025. This is your chance to play before it launches in October 2025. You will need a decently capable system to play Battlefield 6 because its system requirements are a bit higher than those of previous titles in the franchise.
However, a decently capable gaming laptop tends to cost upwards of $1,500 to $2,100, which is something not every gamer can afford. There’s also a backlit keyboard, but it has a single blue LED and not a full RGB spectrum. Also, the battery capacity is quite low to deliver any meaningful battery life. You will barely get 2 – 3 hours of battery life browsing the web or watching movies. These are some caveats of low-cost laptops.

5) Acer Nitro V ANV15-41-R5N6 Gaming Laptop With RTX 4050
This Acer Nitro V is for people on an extremely tight budget. It costs only $705, which makes it one of the most affordable laptops on this list. At this low budget, you will have to accept some compromises, but it’s not that bad. This laptop has a 6-core AMD Ryzen 5 CPU and an Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU, which should deliver 60 FPS in Battlefield 6. An FPS game like this should be played at a higher FPS, but that’s a compromise you must accept at this price point.
There’s another compromise in the form of RAM capacity. The Acer Nitro V only comes with 8GB of RAM, so you will have to buy at least another 8GB stick separately to play Battlefield 5.
