Battlefield 6 is all set to launch on October 10, 2025, but you don’t have to wait that long to get a taste of how the game plays. That’s because EA is conducting Open Beta Test programs, where users have the chance to play the game before it officially launches and provide feedback on it.

The first Open Beta testing happened on August 9 – 10, which is now over. If you didn’t manage to play it during that period, the beta will open up again on August 14 – 17, 2025. This is your chance to play before it launches in October 2025. You will need a decently capable system to play Battlefield 6 because its system requirements are a bit higher than those of previous titles in the franchise.

However, a decently capable gaming laptop tends to cost upwards of $1,500 to $2,100, which is something not every gamer can afford. That’s why we took the time to curate a list of some capable gaming laptops that won’t burn a hole through your wallet. You will find this list below with detailed specs and prices. Read on to learn more.

Price: $1,299.99

The GIGABYTE Gaming A16 is one of the most affordable laptops to sport the premium Nvidia RTX 5070. This GPU is capable of delivering 120+ FPS in Battlefield 6 natively at QHD resolution. Therefore, you can hook this laptop to a big screen QHD monitor and have an even better experience when playing this game.

The 10-core Intel Core i7 CPU inside the GIGABYTE Gaming A16 is quite capable. So you won’t experience any stutters or FPS drops. The build quality is decent, but not extraordinary. However, the design looks better than all other laptops on this list.

Price: $1,199.99

This Acer Nitro V is equipped with a 14-core Intel Core i9 CPU and the Nvidia RTX 5060 GPU. Thanks to this combination of hardware, this laptop can easily play Battlefield 6 at high refresh rates for a smooth gameplay experience. Also, you can set up Twitch/YouTube live streaming for your games. This laptop will easily handle that due to the inclusion of the high-performance CPU.

The build quality is decent, with very little flex in the body even when applying pressure. The only caveat is that it uses a DDR4 RAM kit instead of the faster DDR5 RAM kits. This was how Acer kept the prices so low.

3) ASUS TUF A15 Gaming Laptop With RTX 4060

Price: $899

The ASUS TUF A15 is a great laptop in terms of price-to-performance ratio. This laptop may not have the latest CPU or GPU, yet it delivers superb performance. ASUS equipped this laptop with the AMD Ryzen 5 CPU and an Nvidia RTX 4060, which should be enough to deliver 70 – 100 FPS in Battlefield 6 at 1080p with Low settings.

ASUS also equipped the TUF A15 with a large battery, so it will deliver a decent battery life when browsing the web, watching movies, or listening to music.

4) MSI Thin 15 Gaming Laptop With RTX 4060

Price: $804

The MSI Thin 15 is one of the most affordable RTX 4060 laptops available on the market. It costs $804 on Amazon, yet it has an 8-core Intel Core i5 CPU, fast DDR5 RAM, and RTX 4060 GPU. Therefore, it will deliver a similar performance as the ASUS TUF A15 we discussed above, but at a much lower cost.

There’s also a backlit keyboard, but it has a single blue LED and not a full RGB spectrum. Also, the battery capacity is quite low to deliver any meaningful battery life. You will barely get 2 – 3 hours of battery life browsing the web or watching movies. These are some caveats of low-cost laptops.

5) Acer Nitro V ANV15-41-R5N6 Gaming Laptop With RTX 4050

Price: $705

This Acer Nitro V is for people on an extremely tight budget. It costs only $705, which makes it one of the most affordable laptops on this list. At this low budget, you will have to accept some compromises, but it’s not that bad. This laptop has a 6-core AMD Ryzen 5 CPU and an Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU, which should deliver 60 FPS in Battlefield 6. An FPS game like this should be played at a higher FPS, but that’s a compromise you must accept at this price point.

There’s another compromise in the form of RAM capacity. The Acer Nitro V only comes with 8GB of RAM, so you will have to buy at least another 8GB stick separately to play Battlefield 5.

Final Thoughts

The GIGABYTE Gaming A16 and Acer Nitro V ANV15-52-98KV are two fantastic budget laptops for playing Battlefield 6. However, if you find them a bit too costly, then the ASUS TUF A15 at $899 and the MSI Thin 15 at $804 are two great options.
