It likely won’t be long before new Ex cards will be announced in the next expansion for Pokemon TCG Pocket.

Pokemon TCG Pocket, released on October 30, 2024, has continued to deliver regular updates to retain existing fans and attract new ones. The main major updates come in the form of new booster packs.
At release, there were only three different packs from the Genetic Apex set available. However, over time, this number has grown and now sits at eight. The last expansion came in the form of Shining Revelry, which added shiny Pokemon to the game. This update launched on March 27, 2025.
So, it will soon be nearly 30 days since the last update, which is why we can expect a new expansion to be announced soon. Meanwhile, speculation is bound to run rampant as players hope to see their favorite trainers and Pokemon added to the game. Here are some Ex cards that could be added following the Shining Revelry expansion in Pokemon TCG Pocket.
A New Professor Would Be a Breath of Fresh Air in Pokemon TCG Pocket

Professor Oak is and always will be a staple in any Pokemon TCG Pocket deck. However, we should remember that there are other regional professors as well. Any of them could make a great addition to the game, even if they might not match the iconic Pokemon Professor.
Some choices for a new Professor card could include Professor Kukui or Rowan, to name a few. Although, it’s entirely possible that Kukui could appear in the game as his alter ego, and not as a professor.
Alolan Starters Are Needed in Pokemon TCG Pocket

The starter pool in Pokemon TCG Pocket is quite limited at the moment. Currently, very few starter Pokemon are present in the game. With speculation leaning toward Generation 7 Pokemon being added, it’s not too far-fetched to think that Incineroar, Primarina, and Decidueye could be next on the list.
All three of these could possibly be added to the game soon.
Mimikyu Can Arrive To Make Pikachu Miserable in Pokemon TCG Pocket

The previous booster packs have introduced the “Pika clones” into the game (Pawmote and Pachirisu). This could take a twist with the addition of Mimikyu, another fan-favorite Pokemon.
Although it’s entirely possible that we may instead get Alolan Raichu, which would also fit the ongoing pattern.
Ultra Beasts Would Be a Welcome Addition To Pokemon TCG Pocket

Shining Revelry brought shiny Pokemon to the game, so there’s no reason Ultra Beasts couldn’t arrive soon as well. While this might not happen immediately in the next pack, it’s likely that Ultra Beasts will appear down the line.
Alternatively, we could get an early glimpse of them through someone like Poipole or Naganadel, with more Ultra Beasts arriving in future expansions.
Lycanroc Has Many Forms Which Can Be Added in Pokemon TCG Pocket

Rockruff evolves into three different forms of Lycanroc, all of which could be implemented into the game. Adding all three would allow for a wide range of deck-building strategies.
The Midday and Midnight forms would likely be more common cards, while the Dusk form Lycanroc is expected to be rarer compared to its counterparts.
Those were five cards that could be added in the next expansion of Pokemon TCG Pocket after Shining Revelry. What Pokemon do you want or expect?
