Gamers, rejoice! For PlayStation Days of Play event has returned for 2025. During the 2 weeks between May 28th to June 11th, over 500 games will be featuring a discount of some kind.
This event, which occurred last year as well, is the perfect time to pick up some games you’ve been keeping your eye on. But if you don’t have any particular games in mind, it’s not an issue. Here are 5 games worth getting during PlayStation’s Days of Play 2025.

1. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Digital Deluxe Edition – $49.59
The original Marvel’s Spider-Man by Insomniac is one of the best superhero games ever made. When its sequel was announced, the gaming community held its collective breath in anticipation of its release. And when it finally came out, it did not disappoint.
Spider-Man 2 improves on the original in many ways. The gameplay has more depth in almost every category. Players have more options in combat and the movement is more dynamic, among other things. It also lets you play as both Peter Parker – the original Spider-Man – and Miles Morales,, who was playable in the spin-off Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The game is currently on a 38% discount.
2. Mafia: Trilogy – $11.99
As its name suggests, Mafia: Trilogy features the definitive editions of all three games in the Mafia series. All three games in the series feature a thrilling narrative and have garnered praise from fans and critics for a multitude of reasons.

3. Stray – $17.99
Released in 2022, Stray garnered the attention – and then the approval – of the gaming community. The game puts you in the shoes (or rather the paws) of a stray cat stuck in a walled city filled with robots and mutant bacteria. This unique setting is what brought a spotlight to the game.

4. Tekken 8 – $35.99
The latest installment in the Tekken series shows that the series has not lost its edge. The game retains the patent serious and gritty storyline, coupled with the absurdity of the rest of the setting.

5. Alan Wake 2 Deluxe Edition – $31.99
Alan Wake 2 is quite different from its predecessor in multiple ways. For example, although the first Alan Wake was an action-adventure game, the sequel is a survival horror game. Usually, such drastic changes in genre across sequels don’t bode well for the quality of the work. However, Alan Wake 2 pulls it off excellently.
Alan Wake 2 is currently 60% off. If you have not played the first game, however, you should probably try that before playing the sequel. The first Alan Wake is currently on an 85% discount for $4.49.
