5 Monsters in MH4U That We Want To See in Monster Hunter Wilds
1. Gogmazios

Let’s start off with the Elder Dragon, Gogmazios. This tar-covered monster served as the final boss of MH4U. Its unique battle involved powerful dragon energy attacks, an explosive tar-based mechanic, and an enormous arena with siege weapons.
Given that Monster Hunter Wilds promises an open-world setting, Gogmazios can fit into this environment. In fact, one of the ecosystems in the game, the Oilwell Basin can be a perfect region for this behemoth of a dragon. Imagine fighting this monster, and its attacks ignite the surrounding oil deposits—setting the arena ablaze.
2. Dalamadur

The colossal serpent Elder Dragon, Dalamadur, is one of the largest monsters in Monster Hunter history. Its sheer scale made its fight a spectacle in MH4U. This is because players need to climb onto its body to attack weak points.
Surprisingly, Capcom rarely capitalizes on this interesting mechanic. It will be interesting to see the developers revisiting this by adding Dalamadur to the game. We could see breathtaking vertical combat where you need to scale its massive body to deal damage. Its body could literally be the arena.
3. Najarala

The Snake Wyvern Najarala brought a fresh and creative combat mechanic to MH4U. This creature attacks by constricting its targets and blasting sonic-based attacks. If this monster were added in MHW, it would be even deadlier if it resided in densely forested areas like the Scarlet Forest. It can slither around using the trees and terrain before going out in the open to stranger its targets.
4. Brachydios

The mucus-covered monster, Brachydios, remains one of the most iconic creatures in the Monster Hunter franchise, for a good reason. This is because of its memorable fighting style alongside its explosive slime attacks. If we’re going to fit him in Monster Hunter Wilds, he could also be placed in the Oilwell basin where its explosive slime attack can be used to interact with the environment.

5. Rajang

Rajang is a fan favorite mostly due to how challenging his encounters can be, especially in Monster Hunter Worlds. This monster forces you to study his attack patterns and time your attacks and dodges carefully. It can be unforgiving, but it rewards you for being clinical about your gameplay.
If we see the giant overly aggressive monkey in Monster Hunter Wilds, we might see it interacting with the environment. Rajang could climb terrain or throw whatever it grabs. Needless to say, hunters are in for a good fight if Capcom adds this monster to the game. Additionally, this monster is a living meme. What’s not to like about the big monkey who likes to give a thumbs-up?
