Set centuries after the original game, Ghost of Yotei follows the story of Atsu, a lone mercenary. Seeking revenge on the people who killed her family, she continues the legacy of the Ghost.
Ghost of Yotei adds and improves upon many of the core mechanics that made the first game so beloved. Fans of the original should make sure not to miss out on this when it releases on 2nd October.
2. Pokémon Legends: Z-A
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is one of the best games in the Pokémon series. Consequently, fans have been wanting the next Pokémon Legends game for a long time. And now, it’s almost here. Legends: Z-A isn’t just the second Pokémon Legends game, it’s also the sequel to Pokémon X and Y.
In addition to all this, the game also serves as the long-awaited reintroduction of Mega Evolution to the series. With all this under its belt, Legends: Z-A is a game you cannot miss. Pokémon Legends: Z-A will be releasing on 16th October, 2025.
3. Battlefield 6
Battlefield has returned, and it’s back with a vengeance. Although Battlefield 2042 was met with less than stellar reception, Battlefield 6 seems to have learned from its mistakes. It features all the things that made the previous games in the series so popular, while also adding new quality-of-life features as well. Battlefield 6 is set to release on 10th October, 2025.
4. The Outer Worlds 2
The Outer Worlds was among the best games of 2019. And now, after six years, its sequel is almost ready to be shipped out. The Outer Worlds 2 serves as a standalone sequel in the same world. The same dystopian setting ruled by interstellar mega-corporations, only in a different star system.

5. Ninja Gaiden 4
The newest game in the Ninja Gaiden series, which is a direct sequel to Ninja Gaiden 3, is all set to release on 21st October, 2025. Ninja Gaiden 4 will have two playable characters: newcomer Yakumo and the series’ longtime protagonist, Ryu Hayabusa.
The Ninja Gaiden franchise is known for its fast-paced and exciting action and its high degree of difficulty, and Ninja Gaiden 4 is sure to be no exception to this.
