Nezuko is a unique demon, intriguing even Muzan himself for her resistance to the sun. Her fiery blood techniques, superior physical prowess, and regeneration place her among the strongest in the series. 4 Demon Slayer characters she can defeat include:
1) Daki
It is not hard to imagine Nezuko destroying Daki because she has already achieved this in the Entertainment District Arc of Demon Slayer. As one part of the Upper Moon 6, Daki may not be as powerful as her brother Gyutaro, but she is still immensely strong.
Her hair manipulation, Obi-based attacks, and physical superiority as a demon created strong obstacles for our heroes. Unfortunately, these fell short against Nezuko’s awakened demon form, where her powers increased drastically. Nezuko was strong enough to brutally stomp down Daki and burn her using her Blood Demon Art.

2) Kanao
As the character who goes on to marry Nezuko’s brother Tanjiro, Kanao is a very talented apprentice of Shinobu. She is a gifted swordsman who has enhanced vision to aid her Flower Breathing techniques. These allowed her to go toe-to-toe with the likes of Doma for a short period.
While Kanao is undoubtedly a very underrated fighter in the series, her strength, speed, and regeneration cannot compare to demons. She might be able to assess battles rapidly, but Nezuko’s unorthodox style that relentlessly pursues victory, especially when she’s berserk, would come out on top.
3) Rui
Being one of the Twelve Kizuki, Rui is a very strong demon who managed to capture Nezuko earlier in the series. His Blood Demon Art created thin durable threads that could trap and cut through targets. However, apart from his adeptness in this technique, Rui showed little adaptability throughout the battle.
This can be attributed to his young age, where the protagonist could quickly figure a counter to his techniques. On the other hand, Nezuko has grown immensely since this battle and can match up against the Upper Moon demons. Her unique blood control and speed could easily go past Rui’s techniques, finishing the battle rapidly.
4) Kaigaku
The replacement for Daki’s Upper Moon 6 ranking, Kaigaku, is a newly turned demon who combined his human Thunder Breathing style with his physicality as a demon. With the ability to use the different forms of his sword technique that Zenitsu couldn’t and generate electricity with his body, he is an opponent to be reckoned with.
However, Kaigaku’s naivety in his demonic form can be used against him. He is unaware of his own limits and the distinctiveness that Nezuko has from other demons. Her regenerative capabilities and resistance to the sun could allow her to win in a drawn-out battle. Even if it was a shorter one, Nezuko has seen Thunder Breathing multiple times and is adaptable enough to counter it with her strength and speed.
This ability to defeat an Upper Moon demon does not speak of Kaigaku’s weakness as much as it attributes to Nezuko’s great strength.
4 Demon Slayer Characters Who Nezuko Can’t Beat
It has been established how powerful Nezuko is but she is not unbeatable. Additionally, Demon Slayer has several monstrous figures who could overcome her with their abilities. These include:
1) Tanjiro
Tanjiro and Nezuko fighting would be the last possible outcome in Demon Slayer, but in a hypothetical scenario, the big brother would emerge victorious. As the protagonist, Tanjiro’s growth in the series has been the most significant. His Water Breathing and Hinokami Kagura provide him the edge against most opponents, effective in any situation.
Additionally, Tanjiro is also extremely clever, thinking strategies during battle. This nature of his allowed him to discover his father’s Transparent World, a selfless state that could overcome Akaza in the Infinity Castle Arc. Hence, his combat experience, knowledge about his sister, and prodigious development would let him defeat Nezuko.
2) Doma
The Upper Moon Two demon, Doma, is one of the strongest and most sadistic characters in the series. Due to his apathetic nature, he can make the most clinical decisions to ensure his victory. Doma’s body is unique since he can absorb anyone he wants, as seen in Shinobu’s case.

4) Gyomei
The Stone Hashira, Gyomei, is renowned for being the strongest asset of the entire Demon Slayer Corps. Despite his blindness, Gyomei wields immense physical strength and endurance, earning praise from Kokushibo.
His Stone Breathing significantly enhances his senses, allowing him to increase the impact of his Kusarigamajutsu attacks. Using this weapon and skill, he could put up a great fight against Muzan after he killed Kagaya.
