The streaming community has shared its criticism against American rapper Lil Tjay following his rant against FaZe Clan member and Twitch streamer Max “Plaqueboymax.” For context, Tjay was recently invited by Max to join his stream in an Airbnb. At one point in the stream, the FaZe member asked the rapper not to smoke indoors, since it would activate the fire alarm. While TJay initially acknowledged the request, he was seen smoking once again a few moments later.

After being told not to smoke a second time, the rapper left the crib. Later, he ended up lashing out against the Twitch streamer for asking him not to smoke. He said:

“Plaqueboymax, no disrespect, I deada** didn’t know you, I deada** never heard of you. I pulled up with Fivio. Everywhere I go, I be smoking. I’ll pay the fine. How much does this s**t cost?…I don’t even deal with ni**as like that. I don’t know who you are.”

What Are Streamers Saying Against Lil TJay?

The streaming community hasn’t been particularly supportive of Lil Tjay’s rant against Plaqueboymax. Many felt that Max had made a reasonable request to the rapper and deserved to be treated with respect. Sneako weighed in on the drama, criticizing Lil Tjay and Fivio Foreign for their lack of basic common courtesy. He said:

“When you base your whole identity around keeping it real, that will go so far that they even following rules and basic common courtesy is being a sell-out. ‘Don’t invite rappers if they can’t do drugs wherever they want.’ That makes everyone think of a certain six letter word that I’m not gonna say right now.”

Another streamer who called out Lil Tjay was Kick streamer Adin Ross. He even claimed that the rapper had threatened him in DMs:

“He already doesn’t like me. He threatened me in the DMs! Like, he really threatened me in the DMs, he said, ‘I got friends who kill.’ I said, ‘Over me? I’m a streamer!’ Like, bro, I swear to god! I was watching the election and he got mad at me and Kai. It was all just some crazy s**t for no reason. For no f**king reason. The whole situation is going to make me upset.”

He also sided with Plaqueboymax, stating:

“Max is 100% in the right. Max is not in the wrong at all. They were disrespectful and that’s that! There’s nothing else to say from it. That’s it. That’s it, there’s nothing else to say.”

Fellow FaZe member and Twitch streamer Josh “YourRAGE” also criticized Tjay:

“You’re not the only ni**a from the planet who is from the hood. We all around the hood. That doesn’t give you the right a f**king drooler. You’re not a hood ni**a, you’re a drooler. That’s just what it is. You’re a drooler, bro.”

Another FaZe member, Nick “Lacy,” also reacted to the controversy involving the rapper and Max. Naturally siding with his fellow FaZe pal, he stated that the rappers (Tjay and Fivio) were disrespectful. He said:

“This is mad disrespectful. If I was in this room that night, with Max, and he asked Lil Tjay and Fivio Foreign to stop smoking and they continued to smoke and blew smoke in his face three different times, if someone disrespects my friend, I’m putting up a fight.”
