Twitch streamer and AMP content member Kai Cenat received a five-minute voice chat ban on Roblox on January 6, 2025. Fellow AMP content creator Roberto “Fanum” Escanio said “f***” on stream despite Kai warning him, leading to the ban.

Roblox is an online game platform with a large user base of children. The platform has strict guidelines against inappropriate language, which led to Kai’s ban. Roblox developers contacted Kai after he was banned and reinstated his account.

The developers acknowledged that Kai Cenat did not use inappropriate language and apologized for the ban. They allegedly told him on January 11, 2025, that it would not happen again and reinstated his account.

Fanum Gets Kai Cenat Banned From Roblox

During a livestream on January 6, 2025, Kai Cenat was playing a Squid Game-inspired game on Roblox. The streamer was carving shapes on a Dalgona candy. Fanum, who was also present during the stream, cursed while playing, and Kai told him:

“Don’t curse. They are going to ban you, gang.”

Fanum’s voice went through the in-game voice chat, and it led to Kai getting banned. A message showed up in-game saying:

“We’ve temporarily turned off voice chat because you may have used language that goes against Roblox Community Standards. If this happens again, you may lose access to your account.”

The ban said the streamer would get back voice chat access in five minutes. However, Kai seemed upset at the situation as he slammed his chair and desk multiple times before walking away from his computer.

Kai Addresses Roblox Ban Controversy

During his January 11, 2025 stream, Kai said that he would return to Roblox. The streamer said:

“Roblox reached out. Sometimes I be wondering, bro, what the f*ck, like how the f*ck is this even possible. The developers, the people that run Roblox, the people that that get Roblox going. Roblox reached out, outta nowhere, behind the scenes, with a sincere apology, on apologizing for me getting banned.”

The streamer announced his return to the game and tried out new things on the platform. Kai added:

“Imma hop on Roblox today and chat, we should be good so we don’t gotta be worrying about voice chat anymore and all this other sh*t no more.”

The streamer said he appreciated Roblox for reaching out and clearing up the issue. While the developers said they would not ban him, Kai avoided using curse words on the platform. Roblox automatically bans users when it detects inappropriate behavior and it permanently bans accounts if players are repeat offenders.
