Bandai Namco just announced Dragon Ball Sparking Zero DLC 1, and it features one of the strongest characters in the DB universe.
As the world awaits to see Beast Gohan in action again when the Dragon Ball anime returns from hiatus, Bandai Namco has made it possible for fans to live that moment early. The developers of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero recently revealed the title’s first DLC – Hero of Justice Pack. This DLC features 11 new characters, one exclusive costume, three custom battles, and more.
However, the most appealing addition in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero DLC 1 is Beast Gohan. The Dragon Ball community first got to see this transformation of Gohan in the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie. Following this, the transformation was featured in the Dragon Ball Super manga, which is drawn by Toyotarou sensei.
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Adds Beast Gohan to its Roster
The DB community has always cherished the younger and bolder version of Gohan, especially during the days of Cell in Dragon Ball Z. Thus, this announcement from Bandai Namco is delightful for all fans alike. Until Beast Gohan’s appearance in the most recent Dragon Ball movie, it had been ages since fans saw Gohan enraged and willing to fight to protect his loved ones.
Not only did Dragon Ball Sparking Zero add this beloved character transformation as part of their first DLC, but the game has also paired it with more additions from the movie lore. It also features characters like Orange Piccolo and Cell Max, which makes us wonder if we will ever see characters like Moro (from the DBS manga) being added to the roster.
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero has successfully maintained its status of featuring the largest DB roster in a game. Additionally, the developers have also teased content from Dragon Ball Daima, the latest ongoing Dragon Ball anime. Let’s take a look at everything that comes with this DLC:

Bandai Namco will release the first DLC on January 23, 2025. Additionally, early access will start 72 hours prior to release.
